This is why the protests will continue and get worse. Proving what a dumb racist fuq he is...

Trump eliminates federal anti-racism training, calling it “a sickness”

But they're mostly peaceful protests right?

Yep. By a large margin, the vast majority or protests are peaceful. When you consider crowd size, that margin gets even bigger.

But moves by our racist President is only exacerbating the problem. Making excuses when one of his supporters kills two people but then calls peaceful protesters thugs and animals because they're black. And then making idiotic claims about Democrat cities being crime-ridden.

So Jersey Girl, have you had a chance to read White Rage yet? I haven't read it, but am curious as to what you think about it. I'm almost done with a book called White Fragility, which is about why white folks have such a hard time talking about race without becoming defensive and shutting down the conversation with what I would describe as "thought stopping cliches." It really illustrates the absurdity of much of the white discourse about race.

Systemic Racism explained by Ben Shapiro. This really starts to get good around 12:50. Any racial disparity you don't like must be due to systemic racism. All are other factors, like individual choice are ignored.

Ben Shapiro is a moron who doesn't understand what systemic racism is. I watched the first couple of minutes and he doesn't even deny the points being made, all he's doing is blaming Democrats for why they exist.

Democrats are against school voucher programs. That's not blaming them. That's why Jamal doesn't get to go to as well funded a school.

Ben goes into detail about how systemic racism is being defined because the definition put forth is so amorphous. Systemic racism could mean that the institutions of today are racist but then of course everyone would oppose them. Systemic racism could also mean that all inequality is explainable by racism which of course is not true. This video tries to explain all inequality with respect to historical racism without accounting for exacerbating levels of income inequality, single motherhood, personal decision making, or any other variable that could come into the gaps that we see today.

No, it isn't, idiot. He is clearly acknowledging this element of systemic racism, but his solution is typical. He's promoting a Right Wing scam that is only intended to funnel federal dollars into religious schools. There is little evidence that voucher programs work as intended, and the logistics of getting an inner city student into a top suburban school isn't addressed by vouchers.

Neither are definitions of systemic racism, he's just showing his ignorance so he can beat up straw men and look like a smart guy for naïve folks like you.
