COVID TESTING ISSUES

Here in Georgia, I'd been trying to get a COVID test done for over a week now. I drove up to the drive through testing center at Main St and Ridegewalk Pkwy, there was one woman sitting down wearing a mask waiting for people to drive up. There were no other cars in line. She said wouldn't come to the window unless I had a mask on so I put one on and she said I had to call to schedule an appointment. She gave me the number to call and said it is done quickly and I could probably park to the side, set it up and drive back within minutes to get tested. But every time I call it goes to a looped recording. It doesn't put me on hold, it just rings about 8 times and then takes me back to the main menu. So after a few hours and about a dozen tries, I decided to press #1 for test results instead of #2 for appointments, thinking maybe I could at least speak to a human being to see what's going on. A woman answered on the first ring and I asked if there was a problem with the appointment center. She said they're just inundated with too many calls and I'd just have to stay on hold when calling. I told her I'm never put on hold, I'm just redirected back to the main menu no matter how many times I call. All of this seemed strange to me because every time I drive by the testing center, which is all the time, the line for testing is always empty or near empty. Anyway, I finally managed to get through to the appointment center and I was told this morning that the earliest time I could get a test would be Friday at 5pm and test results can take up to 14 days. So if I'm COVID positive, it could be nearly three weeks before I'd even know.
But according to Trump; we're the envy of the world because we do so much testing.
