Interesting, and i think its worth you posting a Constitutional professor's, who was also a former President, opinion on the particular topic from OP. I think his statements when he was in office may be relevant to your post?

Trump is already using the power of the purse that the Constitution exclusively gives to Congress, so why woudn't Trump be unable to do away with "birthright citizenship" in the 14th Amendment with an executive order?? Trump believes that Article 2 gives him the right to do whatever he wants as President.
