"NOPE, I THINK WE'RE ALL SET"

In an event in Wisconsin Monday evening, Kamala Harris was invited to take some questions from the press and she and her staff went into CODE RED and bounced up outta there:

Totally cordially, the host went to pass Kamala the mic to take some questions, and a nanosecond later two of her staffers are heard jumping in to shut it down.

"NOPE, I THINK WE'RE ALL SET."

"THANK YOU PAUL."

"THANK YOU PAUL, WE'RE ALL SET."

Kamala and her handlers decided to abruptly and urgently end the event and leave, to the apparent shock of the fawning host.

Before fleeing, however, Kamala decided to make an awkward situation even more uncomfortable, in a true Michael Scott fashion, by ignoring questions and going into her Hillary-esque, unbearable, fake laugh.

"I once lived in Wisconsin, did you know that? HAHAHA! Wisconsin is part of my story. HAHAHAHA!" And then the Democrat VP candidate walked out of the interview.

Running away from the press has been commonplace for Biden and Harris events since Harris was nominated, and it doesn't look like they are going to face a live press any time soon.

So, we all know that Trump routinely takes questions from Press, even if you don't like the answers. But we now have a well established pattern of Biden/Harris refusing to take questions from the press unless its controlled and scripted. Like Donna with Hillary at a debate, these Democrats need the questions in advance.
Is this a meaningful strategy for Nov 2020?

It is pure genius at this point. Trump is behind in the polls, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just keep letting Trump bury himself. It doesn't really matter what questions are asked of her, the Right Wing propaganda machine will spin and use it to change the narrative from what is already the focus of Trump's hatred of the military and the corruption of his administration. Just look at how it is using this non-issue to spin a narrative from Harris not taking a question. It drives them nuts, and obviously it drives you nuts too.

And no, Trump doesn't answer questions. He takes questions and then replies in the same way he always does, by attacking the person who asked it and spinning onto a tirade of lies about how he's done more than any human who has ever lived to (pick an issue).
