The fact of the Trump University Scam alone, in a rational world, should have been enough to render Trump ineligible to run for any public office, let alone President, especially in light of the fact of the strong evidence that the AGs of both Florida and Texas were bribed by Trump's organization to end or limit criminal prosecution of the case.

A deposition puts Trump in a position where he does not have ultimate control. What is fascinating to me is Trump's subdued demeanor. It is the exact inverse of his normal bombastic self.

FYI, Mother Jones is a politically left magazine. It's named after a prominent union organizer and activist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Jones

I think I may have mentioned this here at the time, but I remember when the Trump University trial was happening before the election, and I mentioned it to a Trump supporting friend of mine. He had the amazing ability to compartmentalize when he told me, "Those people should have known better."

That's right; he blamed the victims for being fooled. He blamed the victims for believing in Trump's "success" and paying him money in an attempt to better themselves with education.

So I asked, "Now that you know he cons people, are you going to be another one of his suckers?"

"This is different."

I don't know how to interpret that exchange without thinking Trump fans are dumb as rocks.

If you were LDS, you could "know" they are as dumb as rocks rather than just "thinking" it.
