Who are the conspiratorial clowns I'm clinging to?
Cultellus wrote:If you make another fumbduck post about your so-called friends that are surprisingly nice to people, I will point that out too.
Do you think the average farmer or factory worker of Nazi Germany wasn't a basically nice person?

Who is Chad? Anyway, why do you think I get my opinions on climate from them? I provided this article:
The Rush Limbaugh Show provided the most explanation of climate models to Americans in 2007
Researchers from George Mason university looked at media coverage to try to understand why the majority of the US population (polled in 2010) appears to believe climate models are too unreliable to predict future climate.
Notice the research comes from George Mason, of all places, which is the hub of tea-party economic thought. It is not in any shape or form a liberal leaning institution. Here you have an ultra-conservative school publishing a paper that argues Rush Limbaugh is a key player if not the key player in climate science misinformation. That's my source, Cultellus, not Chad. There is no conspiracy. It's the result of shock-jock radio going viral with the public. THAT is what's informing your buddy A-Mike. Yes, the same guy who really thought he'd "get" the people of this forum by revealing plants breathe carbon-dioxide. Kind of like Hades informing us about Mercury in vaccines. lol.

(cultellus hurls a personal insult that would require this post be moved to prison)

Ceeboo has no issue with you talking to me like this. In fact, he's virtually insisted by his poem recitation that I accept you for who you are. But he's completely lost it over the fact that I criticized him for tone policing while not producing substance. I didn't call him any names. My guess is Ceeboo is a very good and decent person. One criticism, and "This one, while shocking as well, is more than just shocking. It's vindictive. it's an outright personal attack directed at me." But I'm suppose to try to get to know the real Cultellus and overlook the constant insults hurled at me in virtually every one of his posts.

(I'm not sure what I edited out above breaks the personal attack rule; I think he worded it appropriately to keep it here, but just in case I'm wrong, I put ellipses)

Ah yes. Hey, remember that conversation about vaccines in Telestial with your friend Hades? Recall, he popped in to recommend a book against vaccines written by the alleged great scholar Eustace Mullins, and you fell all over yourself to be polite. "Oh Hades, thank you for the book recommendation! I did not mean to sound important or snarky..."

Here are some other titles written by your friend's favorite author:

Adolf Hitler: An Appreciation
The Biological Jew
Mullins' New History of the Jews
The curse of Canaan

If you're really disgusted by Nazism and bigotry, you're going to need to be more careful as you navigate the landscape of conspiracy theories. Science denial of any form often finds its way to fascism.

**note to moderators. I'm not sure if my quotes of Cultellus need to be moved; but since they are my quotes, if the material is too offensive for this forum, could you instead x out the worst parts so that I can show what I'm responding to? also can I get my OP back if possible?

This is rich.
Looks like I stopped Cultellus dead in his tracks.

Can't really argue with facts when presented by a conservative source like George Mason, can you?

Gadianton,

My apologies for moving your opening post. That was a mistake, which Canpakes has corrected.

With respect to your other request, Cultellus’s post was moved to Prison because it contained a personal attack. When that happens, subsequent posts that repeat the personal attack are moved as well. If you want to keep your responsive post in Paradise, you can omit the personal attack from the quoted language. Or, the responsive post can be moved to Prison. Or, if you wish, I can move the thread to Prison.

I prefer the thread stay here as I think it's important for those who align with the political right to consider George Mason's study that shows the tremendous influence Rush Limbaugh has had on American perceptions of climate science.

I've made the edits.

Ceeboo flippantly had asked me why I would quote Rush and not other pundits or politicians on climate science. Why single him out? This is why.

Why am I finding you calling me out all over the board? Your world may be different but In my world, if people have issues with people, they address the person that they have the issue with directly. They don't address them with and/or through random people in the midst of conversations with said random people. While you need not adhere to my request, I am asking you to stop with all this Ceeboo obsession you are displaying all over the board. If you want to ask me things, ask me, don't ask random people to answer for me. If I want to answer, I will - If I don't, I won't. I would gladly allow you the same options.
In fact, he's virtually insisted by his poem recitation that I accept you for who you are.
What is with you and this poem and how did you come to this conclusion about the poem? I am asking because I have no idea what you're talking abo

In the least surprising revelation yet on this board, Cutellus is Smokey. Gad makes an interesting point in that Ceeboo really seems to vibe with these guys, but can’t seem to find his voice when they’re just doin’ Nazi things.

Nice Clown Moderating.

Is this how Shades moderated?
Responding to questions, explaining how the rules apply, and being polite when doing so are, to my understanding, consistent with being a clone of Shades.

The post, as written, violates UR 4 and FR 2. It can remain in Paradise if you remove the personal attack and change the content so it is not a derail.
