That said, there is a difference between saying he took horse dewormer - implying medication prescribed for an animal by a vet as people have done - and his getting a prescription for Ivermectin from a medical doctor off-label for potential antiviral application. He had COVID and claims he doesn't see the vaccine as doing more since he now has antibodies which is a discussion Dr. Gupta didn't have with him as to why getting the vaccine even after having had COVID is a good idea (variant protection, reduced ability to catch it again, etc.)
The headline was a dig at Rogan and like Gad said, it gave him and others something to snag onto. It also doesn't help to keep framing it the same way, or as a technicality. Abusing medicine intended for animals is not the same thing as getting and taking medication under a doctor's supervision. So, there's more than just an own goal here.

If EA were around he'd put you all in your place as he has done in the past.
