The definition of Doublethink

Post by MeDotOrg »

Tucker Carlson says January 6th was a false flag operation.

And yet Roger Stone says:
Given what I know, I am perplexed as to why the January 6 committee has not issued a subpoena to [Former Trump Aide] Katrina Pierson, in other words, someone deeply involved in the violent and unlawful acts of January 6...

So it was a false flag operation, but the President's former aide was deeply involved.

Mr. Orwell, welcome to the 21st Century:
Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.
The great problem of any civilization is how to rejuvenate itself without rebarbarization.
- Will Durant
"Of what meaning is the world without mind? The question cannot exist."
- Edwin Land

If I want to double something, I multiply it by two. So...

What's 2 x 0, again?

So yeah, even if they doublethink, they're still thoughtless.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.
