Ajax is responding exactly how I described those faux patriots who can't get their story straight. If Putin is taking over Ukraine because he thinks Biden is "weak" then what, pray tell, would Trump have done differently to stop him?
Putin took land during the 3 of the 4 prior presidential administrations. That was GWB, BHO, and JRB. Who's missing in that list? DJT is who. Putin took over no land during Trump's four years.

He didn’t need to do as much work. Putin could save his resources by having Trump attempt to hold up arms shipments to Ukraine until Zelensky fabricated political dirt on Trump’s opponents, and by encouraging Trump to ridicule US Intel ops in front of Putin and the world.

Eh. What are we gonna do about it?
Nothing, absolutely nothing. They claim they're cancelling their meetings with the Russian foreign minister but then invite him to join a meeting with Iran by zoom. Sanctions are weak anyway, but these sanctions are sanctions in name only they're so weak.
It’s not like we have pointed out the Foundations thing a million times. This goes to show you, though, if our country is going to waste trillions on stupid damned adventures in questionable wars, throw trillions away in nonsensical handouts, and have an egregious tax structure where we can’t build our treasury, but instead run up our credit cards because iNfLaTiOn iS aGoOd tHiNg, when the time comes where we should actually get involved in a truly meaningful geopolitical cause we don’t have the social, political, and economic will to do so, bad actors will do what they do. I wouldn’t doubt the Chinese are mulling their options with regard to Taiwan right now.
You seem right on the money with your foreign policy Doc.
Anyway. As the White Supremacists are fond of saying, “No more brother wars.” I don’t believe we should get sucked into this thing, but I can’t see how we’re not going to unless we just let the Russians have their cordon sanitaire.

Putin knows this too. That's why he invaded. As far as I'm concerned it's just one socialist/communist killing another.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Yep.

If Taiwan makes it 6 more months I will be very surprised.

and we know this because he's already told us what he thinks about Putin's invasion.
The media has taken Trump's comments out of context. Trump does not want the former Soviet Union reestablished. If he did, it would have happened on his watch, not BIden's. What on earth would make you think the people you hate, call racist, teach their kids critical race theory, berate, belittle, confiscate their earnings, suspend their freedom of speech and constitutional rights, lockdown, seek to smear and overturn the 2016 election by any means necessary, would ever want to be loyal to you?

ajax ain't wrong.

Said another way, why would anyone act surprised when they get the exact reaction that they provoked? It is no different than all the faux outrage over trolls, when exactly what they want is to troll so-called trolls.

The 2016 deplorables comment did not hurt the so-called deplorables, it merely revealed the playbook. Instead of learning from the reaction it provoked, they decided it would be a great idea to provoke an even bigger huger reaction. The media is merely trying to make a buck off the disloyalty. Specifically, the mainstream media is trying to get what FOX already got.

True. Putin just took over a bunch of abandoned US checkpoints and outposts in Syria, got some classified intel, and repeatedly got a free outlet for Kremlin talking points to be echoed (like the people of Crimea all wanted to be Russian).

I’m not sure that anyone’s expecting that.

Just three square miles of solar panels in the Mojave desert would produce enough electricity to power the entire country for free.
Oh, cute. Super. We don't know what Trump would have done because it didn't happen when Trump was there.
Trump was there, and he did nothing but kowtow to the dictator. In Helsinki he had the chance to stand up to him when he was confronted publicly about meddling in our elections. Our intelligence agencies all confirmed that he did, and instead of reprimanding Putin for his illegal behavior he said he believes the dictator over US intelligence. Recent Trump has applauded Putin's invasion of Ukraine, but in your mind there is no way of knowing what Trump would do if he were President.

Maybe this will give Biden the scapegoat he needs for the highest inflation in 40 years and soaring gasoline prices. Most voters are too stupid to realize it was Biden's policies that created this, not this Russian conflict and worthless sanctions. And if things get too bad for Dems in 2022 and 2024, I'm sure they can find another virus to justify cheat by mail voting and hold onto power no matter how unpopular their policies.
