CNN calls for Biden

Back story. The decision desk that most networks use won’t project when a race is within a mandatory recall range. The Biden lead in PA just hit .5%. With no chance it would reverse.

The news outlets I am seeing agree that Biden has definitely won.
Meanwhile, Trump is planning a press event in a landscaping centre in Philadelphia next to (according to Twitter) an adult bookshop called 'Fantasy Island'.

This would be the full half of the glass, and it's quite refreshing.

Don't expect Trump to accept reality anytime soon and concede the race, sources say
From CNN's Jim Acosta
Sources inside and outside the campaign say don’t expect President Trump to accept reality and concede the race anytime soon.
Trump is dug in, sources say, feeling embittered that he has lost the race. Advisers describe Trump as grasping any straw that he sees reported on Fox News.
He may never accept this reality, one adviser conceded.
Another indication of how alone Trump is at the moment: Vice President Mike Pence's advisers are not eager to get the vice president behind Trump as he drags this out.
A source familiar with the situation said Pence wants to preserve his options for 2024.

I have to say, I don't think I've ever felt this intense a sense of relief in my life. This is a great day.

I thought I'd switch over to Fox News to see how they were covering it. Bret Bier was hosting and the coverage was actually pretty real. Donna Brazile was on and started weeping with joy over Harris being the VP-elect. It was actually quite encouraging to think Fox News viewers were seeing this. It doesn't look like Fox News is willing to go down with the Trumptanic.
ETA: Fox News decision desk has a higher EC score for Biden than MSNBC does.

I am so relieved. So happy. A dark night is drawing to a close and we see the first light of dawn.

Was there some foot-shooting going on with all the "watch the polls" nonsense?
The president and all of his supporters know they are lying, and are in agreement on the lie, that there is election fraud (aside from their own).
Overseeing "fraud" became an obsession with the Right. But how does that help them? They know they are lying, and so what good does it do for hundreds of right-wingers to show up at a location, sign in, get pictures taken wondering around, and then fail to find any issues, and thus become witnesses to the fact that there is no fraud?
As for in-person voting, the President's call for voter intimidation was counterbalanced by the militias he called upon themselves. The three-percenter website has a lengthy plea explaining what voter intimidation is, that it's a serious federal offence, and any loose canons will be ousted from their organization. And so pretty much the only play is to show up and try for subtlety in intimidation at best, while also becoming a witness that nothing unusual is going on.
Wouldn't the right play to be to circulate the suspicion about fraud, but then let the election happen "on its honor", and then after unfavorable results come in, advance the charge that there had been no oversight and the results can't be trusted? Couldn't that have the potential to cause more trouble?
In the end, no obstacle is too large to overcome should officials broadly embrace a voter-fraud meme where reality is determined by what goes viral, subgenius style, but that doesn't mean there aren't obstacles. I fail to see how the Right's own voting oversight did nothing but shoot their own foots in their hope to call voter fraud as an excuse.
