Quote him and what the other “media” said at the time. The story was in the Post. And it was that Joe Biden met with a Burisma official several months before he pressured the Ukaine government to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. That story is completely false. There was no meeting and there was no Burisma investigation when Biden pressured the government to fire a prosecutor who was refusing to conduct investigations.
Biden is on tape threatening to fire the prosector.
Is he? Or is he on tape talking about pressuring the president to fire him?
But you miss the important part entirely: The prosecutor was not investigating Burisma. He was failing to investigate corruption. That’s why the US and UK wanted him replaced with a prosecutor who would investigate and prosecute corruption. The Post lied to give an impression that Biden was acting to protect his son when the exact opposite was true. This should cause you to ask why Brietbart lies to you so much.

I remember this quite well. Biden was demanding that the prosecutor be fired precisely because he was doing nothing to attack obviously corrupt actors.
by the way, it would have taken an incredibly stupid person to have attacked the prosecutor directly if the issue had been about Biden's own son: any politician with a bit of experience and sense would have got someone else to do it.
Of course, Trump would have conducted the attack himself, because he has neither. (In fact he has recently done so "They're even going after [my] children!" he wailed ...)

There are lengthy threads about this during the first Trump impeachment trial. The prosecutor Biden, as VP and the US admin rep handling Ukraine, demanded be removed was corrupt himself and NOT investigating corruption. The claim Biden did this as a favor to Burisma after meeting with a rep arranged by his son is so much made up BS. You need to be able to recognize that partial verification of a claim is a tool of con men, ajax.
Maybe you and Res Ipsa are right about this one. I'll admit that I have no rebuttal to your argument. I do appreciate your input on this. I definitely learned a few things. I would like to see a conservative who has more time and knows more than me clear up the other side of this argument.
I'm still no socialist but nevertheless Honor's service as a soldier does carry a lot of weight with me.

Damn...
Gotta respect the humility...That said, no conservative is going to be able spin it in a way that better suits what you want to believe. This was widely reported on and its crystal clear that Biden and team were working on rooting out corruption and inaction on the part of Shokin (before Hunter joined the board). Trump essentially got it completely backwards and the right-wing media latched onto and continues to push the "fake" narrative knowing their followers would never research it on their own...
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/poli ... 785620002/
"But sources ranging from former Obama administration officials to an anti-corruption advocate in Ukraine say the official, Viktor Shokin, was ousted for the opposite reason Trump and his allies claim.
It wasn't because Shokin was investigating a natural gas company tied to Biden's son; it was because Shokin wasn't pursuing corruption among the country's politicians, according to a Ukrainian official and four former American officials who specialized in Ukraine and Europe."...
..."The investigation dealt with the Ministry of Ecology, which allegedly granted special permits to Burisma between 2010 and 2012, the agency said. Hunter Biden did not join the company until 2014."

Thanks, Ajax. in my opinion, Honor is a pretty consistent straight shooter.

Nope. Never. This is
de ja vu, so much so I'm surprised ajax even still bothers to post Brietbart nonsense here anymore. The hilarious thing about it is he's always doing this in the context narrative of "see, see the Liberal media is lying about this and we can't trust CNN or the NYT because of it," when in reality ajax only believes this narrative because it is his preferred sources that continuously lie to
him.

What's to "clear up?" Your source lied to you. Period. You say you can't argue back, but imply some other "Conservative" could.
This one?
Again, this is the same thing that happened over on the other threads, like the recent one where you claimed recent investigations proved Hillary spied on Trump. That was dismantled quickly by some of the same posters and all you did was abandon your own thread.
