For someone who is LDS to describe someone as soulless is to say they are something other than human. After all, LDS theology says all humans have souls, doesn’t it? Religious fanatics spouting eliminationist rhetoric qualifies as scary, in my book.
Yeah, if what I had said only allowed that outcome, then I would understand this response. But what I said is that not all religiously motivated politics is scary. Example I offered was Blair Hodges, who is a Mormon progressive, whom I do not find scary.
Ah, sorry, I don’t know Blair Hodges and knew nothing of his politics. I was focused on the Freedom Forum types that appear to be dropping in off late.

It is my belief that all democrats, without exception, are among the third part of spirits in the pre-existence that saw the advantage of following Lucifer with a body, as opposed to getting kicked out with him.
Source for this apocryphal claim that a third of the hosts supported Lucifer but came to mortality rather than be kicked out? I'm requesting you provide the LDS authority for this specific version of the divide between spirits.

Hawaiians would describe them as haole, which means ‘without spirit.’

The LDS Bible Dictionary once defined the soul as the spirit and the body together.

Therefore haoles are soulless.

The logic is impeccable.

David Bokovoy and Brian Hauglid and Daniel McClellan are also Democrats.
