Uh...reading the thread. We're also cool with posting behind the scenes material? Reports?

Don't get me wrong, I see the utility of doing so in this case but I'm at least a little concerned about setting precedence. Along those same lines, can we have Mod Forum Mondays where you guys open the MF and we all get to read it? I mean, if we're going to be privy to behind the scenes stuff now, I want to see it all.

Guess it's time for the big reveal. The secret was well kept and I appreciate the handful who knew keeping that secret. But we've effectively sifted the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, and there is nothing more to be gained by waiting much longer.

From now going forward the non-Mormon forums will be changed from primarily politics and parochial grumbling about other posters, moderators, or the media. They will now be forums exclusively about geek culture and middlebrow pastimes.

Posters who failed to participate in such luminal threads as the RPGamers Way Off Topic thread, book discussions, Worldle/Globle threads, or Shades' game threads will be limited to posting in the Spirit Prison Forum. Said forum will no longer be about any topic but instead all posts must be presented as statements of praise for Perfume, Shades favorite J-Pop band. I can imagine this may be traumatic for some and I would feel the same way but, really, what better represents Mormon purgatory than that? Demoted posters who can successfully say the secret passcode on a Perfume - praising post will be allowed to then post in paradise where the geekiest of geek threads will finally thrive.

Please keep all threads in the SSP forum to content one may imagine being on Sunday morning NPR. We know that those not demoted can self-govern with this minimal guidance because respect for the Sunday puzzle is not a light one can hide under a bushel.
