Holy smokes, this is awesome. I had no idea.

I just had the most joyous flashback to excitedly rummaging through the Sunday paper for the "funnies."
Yeah ... back in the day "Bloom" and "Calvin" were my two favorites.

Their characters are so beautifully done.

To clarify,

It's a good thing to have the strongest military in the world, but I think modernizing fighter aircraft is a waste of money in my opinion.

What’s the version of aircraft you feel is good enough in today’s operating environment?

Hugh Nibley claimed he bumped into Adolf Hitler, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, Gertrude Stein, and the Grand Duke Vladimir Romanoff. Dishonesty is baked into Mormonism.

Or they spent much of their adult life serving in it or supporting a loved one who did, and they respect the work and commitment of those who serve.
True. I thank our soldiers for their service.
You only support members of the United States Army? Why?

Fighter jets are unable to stop intercontinental ballistic missiles. So why are fighter jets necessary?

I think our country is spending too much in the military. The biggest threat to our country is a Genetically Engineered Virus.

I liked top gun because the tom cruise character was a rebel pilot with a deep emotional problem due to the loss of his father. He also got the hot smart babe and flew fast jets and rode fast motorcycles. Pretty exciting and it affirmed my cold war attitude of wanting to kill some ruskie scum. The polling research/propaganda that probably affected the script and movie got me as a younger man.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.
