A note from my Dad

My Mom just sent me this. This was written to my pregnant mother 52 years ago. We were stationed in Germany at the time so I just found out I was actually conceived in Germany.
Thought some of you might get a kick out of this....

I love how he went back to amend the agreement with "6 weeks".

Well, that's really what's cute about the whole thing: he wrote a contract to his wife using contract-like language, including an initialed amendment.

lol. at the time, did your parents know they were having a boy? (at first i thought it read "holy" boy. yes i was raised Mormon!

exactly. in utter shock at the sheer number of dishes generated daily by a family and a newborn.
If he had thrown laundry in there, they would have hired a service, i'm sure.

Birthing a baby versus 6 weeks of dishwashing. LOL. I suppose your mom was the help mate and not the other way around.
