Great googely-moogely dude. Something being common doesn't mean it should be ignored. If anything, a high prevalence would be increased reason to take it seriously. You take some really strange positions.
It was a sarcastic comment. Unfortunately, nobody takes GDM seriously.

Or women having babies after age 30 when they are less likely to be physically active and more likely to be overweight.
Is the increased median age of first pregnancy medically significant when overlaid with historical mean age for final pregnancy, while controlling for decreased total pregnancies, and births?
I'm not sure if it's controlling for decreased total pregnancies, I'll check the references later.
"The worldwide increase in the prevalence of GDM can be partially explained by increased obesity rates and rising maternal age among childbearing women observed in high- and middle-income countries [11,12,13]."

This meta-analysis about Type 1 does control for the decrease in total pregnancies.

Umm, you forgot to tell us what the “new experiment” is.

As anyone who has been in a relationship with a pregnant person knows, gestational diabetes has been taken seriously for decades. The fact that you just discovered it doesn’t mean no one was taking it seriously. It’s a part of the overall trend of increasing obesity.

There is no “experiment.” Women are exercising their reproductive freedom to have children at an average older age. That will obviously have different effects, which could be positive or negative. I’d bet money that you’ve fixated on this negative effect because it nicely dovetails with your fantasy of marrying and having children with a young virgin. So, you’re off down a rabbit hole of cherry picking studies and bits of studies. Again.

DoubtingThomas, could this alarming trend be halted by encouraging young nubile Mexican maidens to migrate to the United States to meet eligible, but older American bachelors?

Having children with a young virgin? LOL I'm too old for that now, not going to happen. I don't need fantasies, I know what it's like to live with a younger woman.

It's like a recursion or a loop. GDM increases the odds of obesity later in life and obesity increases the odds of GDM.

I doubt most people know that being over 25 is considered a risk factor by doctors. I don't dispute there are positives. However, there are negatives too, some include Type 1 diabetes and childhood cancer.

Women also have the freedom to drink during pregnancy. Nobody knows how much an increased average age will affect minorities. It's something that has never been observed before.

About 45% of women ages 25 to 44 will be single by 2030. That means that a large percentage of the 45% will never have children. It's okay if that's what they really want.

I wouldn't want to have children with a woman who is over 30 and overweight.

Sure, buddy! didn't you know men can age like wine?

Edit because I don't want to mess with America's toughest woman. I don't have time for that.

Us MGTOW men have a saying. Men age like wine and women age like milk. We become more attractive with age while your marketplace value goes down. Why would we settle on you now when you would not give us the time of day before? We won’t...

Good call, but you still have a fair amount of misogynistic tendencies. Maybe stop reading that incel/redpill/anti-feminist nonsense.
