Recent examples, please?
In October 2012, Rep. Elijah Cummings, a Maryland Democrat, initiated an investigation into alleged voter suppression by True the Vote. Cummings wrote a letter to Engelbrecht, raising questions about voter challenges in Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Maryland. He indicated that if the efforts to challenge voter registrations were "intentional, politically motivated and widespread across multiple states, they could amount to a criminal conspiracy to deny legitimate voters their constitutional rights."[24] In February 2014, True the Vote filed complaints against Cummings including charges of ethics violations after Internal Revenue Service (IRS) emails released by the House Oversight Committee showed staff working for Democratic Ranking Member Elijah Cummings communicated with the IRS multiple times between 2012 and 2013 about True the Vote. Prior to this revelation, Cummings had maintained that at no time was he nor his staff in communication with IRS officials regarding True the Vote. Information contained within the emails show that the IRS and Cummings' staff asked for nearly identical information from Engelbrecht about her organization, implying coordination and improper sharing between the two groups of confidential taxpayer information.[citation needed]

Mark the record for one submittal from 10 years ago.

Cummings’ staff contacted the IRS. What did the IRS do to True the Vote? What did the FBI do to True the Vote?

Do you have a reliable reference for the claim within the last sentence, as there is not one presented?

It should be noted “True the Vote” was caught photoshopping a message onto a Black woman’s sign where she complains she only got to vote once:

Lol@ comic sans.

We could spend time debunking or even properly framing this allegation, but it doesn’t matter. Nothing moves the needle for our local totally-not-a-racist. He’ll just google some other Fart Wing lie, swallow it wholesale, and then post it without addressing his previous lie.

Ultimately Lois Lerner was able to plead the fifth and Obama was able to squelch the investigation by appointining partisan democrat investigators to feign outrage at the inspector generals report of the IRS systematically targeting conservatives. Lois Lerner was put on paid leave and now enjoys a long sweet retirement package. Obama achieved a cover up that Nixon could not.

And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

So there appears to not really have been any (checks previous claim), so-called Democratic “weaponization of the FBI and IRS and silencing of political opponents through threRs of personal tax audits”?

In fact, that sort of activity was inhibited by the action of Democratic Party members?

There was. It's why Lois Lerner pleaded the 5th amendment. She was saved because Obama won the election and retained authority to assign a political ally to do a coverup investigation.

So, the fact that the thing you claimed happened didn’t actually happen is evidence - to you - that it happened.

Another way to weaponize the IRS against political opponents is to leak their personal tax documents to the press, as the Democrats did with Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, and others.

Congressional protections in the Constitution also allowed Harry Reid to claim in front of Congress that Mitt Romney hadn't paid taxes in 10 years without fear of being sued for libel. Harry Reid knew this was false. When confronted about this later his reply was, "Romney didn't win the election did he?" It's kind of amazing to me that Harry Reid could qualify for a temple recommend.

‘And others’ includes Bill Gates and George Soros in that same stash of leaked IRS data that gave details about Musk. And Bezos owns the Post, right? Those aren’t, according to you, political opponents of Democrats. And given that no source has ever been confirmed for the leak, this looks like another unfounded claim on your part.

That’s another 10 year old incident and - as a personal assertion of Reid - has nothing to do with the FBI or IRS, let alone any ‘weaponizing’ of either entity.

There are still some centrist Democrats who the far left attacks like Musk, Bezos, and Bill Gates.

And given that no source has ever been confirmed for the leak, this looks like another unfounded claim on your part.
So it was the Republican IRS employees leaking these documents? So what if they didn't get caught. Someone in the IRS still leaked the documents.
