????
Scholarship Programs For Male Nurses

Typically, scholarships benefit high achievers in academics, athletics and other areas. Some funds are set aside for particular groups, who receive college money for high levels of achievement combined with additional character traits. Minority scholarships and other targeted financial aid is designed to increase representation among groups that have traditionally been denied access to higher education. Women enjoy college aid that helps them succeed in certain fields that have historically been dominated by a male workforce. And today, gender equity fosters financial aid that specifically helps male students earn degrees.

The lesson for college students seeking financial aid is to use every resource available; including those that specifically target race, gender, location, vocation, cultural ancestry and other personal attributes.

The nursing profession has traditionally been staffed by female employees, but gender lines continue to blur in the high-need profession. As a result, more and more men are seeking financial aid to help them earn RN and LPN credentials. While men-only nursing scholarships are not found around every corner, there is widespread financial aid available for male students entering the field.

Scholarship Opportunities Exist Exclusively for Male Nurses

The American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) is an advocacy and support organization serving male nurses. The group provides professional support and educational resources for men in nursing roles. Scholarships and awards are issued directly to students, and by way of institutional funding that allows schools to direct AAMN scholarships to worthy students on individual campuses...

True, but scholarships, programs, and other types of financial aid exclusively for women are a lot more common. I read it was like ten times more.

As I said, can you imagine the outrage if many organizations invested a lot of money exclusively on men who are studying nursing?

"In fact, currently there are more women than men attending college and opportunities abound for women across many schools and majors...Additionally, there are many philanthropic organizations who are specifically targeting this demographic and offer scholarships for women aspiring to careers in engineering, computer science and many other similar fields."

Huh. Did you see this lack of outrage?

Now, can you provide some figures on the disparity in financial aid awarded based on sex that you suggest accounts for the disparity in college enrollment?
Nope.

But I can give you this, "In fact, currently there are more women than men attending college and opportunities abound for women across many schools and majors...Additionally, there are many philanthropic organizations who are specifically targeting this demographic and offer scholarships for women aspiring to careers in engineering, computer science and many other similar fields."

Yes, I can imagine this. Not that I need to, because scholarships for male nursing applicants already exist. Some are exclusive to men.

Just read my words carefully, "can you imagine the outrage if many organizations invested a lot of money exclusively on men who are studying nursing?"

It is no secret that there are a lot more scholarships exclusively for women. It's not even close.

Were you looking for ‘a lot’ of scholarships geared towards men?

 But there are about ten times more scholarships exclusively for women, that's the problem. If it was about the same, then Forbes wouldn't have reported this https://www.forbes.com/sites/kimelsesse ... 594fd97fe2

DT, there are even LGBTQ-oriented scholarships.

Would you say that this shows a societal bias against heterosexual couples, or dissuades cis men and women from attending university?

Jesus Christ, you don't have to be so complicated.

"A new study that recently came out revealed that 84% of roughly 220 universities "lopsidedly benefited women" by offering single-gender scholarships, many of which are in STEM fields; permitted under Title IX only if the "overall effect" of scholarships is equitable."
