Deep State Strikes Again

The Deep State has successfully weaponized the justice system again by charging totally innocent and completely honest and upstanding Republican George Santos with a string of crimes.

We know that none of this is true, because George Santos hates socialism, and if George Santos was Democrat, he'd be President. Hopefully he uses this opportunity to write a book about how innocent he is. Amen.
...seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives.

This proves Santos' Republican legitimacy.

Santos is taking a page from the Trump playbook and claiming "It's all a witch hunt".

And we know Santos is innocent because anyone who is a Republican is innocent of all crimes, even ones witnessed by millions of people, such as Trump's failure to faithfully execute the laws when he deliberately did nothing for many hours to stop his violent mob from vandalizing the Capitol and trying to kill Pelosi and Pence.

Hey, last night Trump said it was Pelosi's fault, because she was in charge of Capitol security.

Trump always tells it like it is, which is why he was the greatest president ever.

The Deep State infiltrated Brazilian law enforcement:
On Thursday, Santos signed a deal with Brazilian prosecutors that he would confess and agree to pay almost $5,000 in fines and restitution in exchange for dropping the charges [of using stolen checks to buy things].

Remember, if they can do it to George Santos, they can do it to you. Every Republican should be afraid of being accused of using stolen checks in Brazil for simply being a conservative patriot that loves freedom and Jesus.

With people like Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greem, Lauren Bobert, George Santos, Jim Jordan, DeSantis, Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott, etc. and so many other increasingly obvious liars and hypocrites in the party, why does the party still have any significant credibility?

Because the GOP has transformed from a party into a cult, people don't use common sense for judgment. They act on idiotic beliefs, like "Trump was a great president," for instance. You know; complete and utter nonsense.

It seems to me the GOP base prefers to be aggrieved and misled than to be realistic and educated. You'd like to have a discussion with a reasonable Republican, but they're impossible to find. They have gone the way of the dodo bird.

I heard a Republican who intends to run for President talking to Bill Maher say, "We just need to sell the voters on our platform. We have a great product to sell." It's hard to have a reasonable conversation with people who are obviously unreasonable.

A great product... this guy thinks saying "no" to all Democrats and saying "so?" regarding all GOP politicians' corruption is "a great product." He thinks a federal ban on abortion is "a great product." He thinks wasting taxpayer money on bogus politically motivated investigations is "a great product." He thinks whining about practically nonexistent voter fraud and a stolen election that was never stolen is "a great product." He thinks making sure we never take measures to ensure gun safety is "a great product." He thinks banning books is a "a great product." He thinks systemic bigotry is "a great product."

The GOP product is only great for GOP pols who want to capriciously wield power, Putin, and a handful of oligarchs. It's damned awful for everyone else.

I really have a hard time not viewing Republican voters as damned stupid as gnat crap.

Trump has essentially said, “If you follow me, you are on my team - and you’re relieved of all manner of moral and ethical constraints, and are authorized to follow the ones I give you."

This enables all sorts of ‘off’ behavior from the followers. Leaders can dupe them into this unspoken contractual agreement, allowing them to be relieved of the pressure of having to act in alignment with the law or even the morals taught to them throughout life.

What's scarier is that once bought in, they will fight, sometimes to the death, to defend their new behavior, because the pain of having to return to their normal moral code can be so traumatic once they've lived without these morals for a while, and especially if they've made an open, public commitment to them, to return to 'normal' isn't just silently returning, but having to admit to yourself and others what you did while you were following the leader was uncivil and shamefully hypocritical.

Quite often they won't snap out of it until the system they thought would elevate them instead overtakes them, and they’re personally impacted in a way that hurts. For example, an outspoken Second Amendment p@TrIoT, who’s been 100% pro-gun may lose a child due to a bullet, or an anti-abortion woman gets pregnant at a terrible time, or a guy gets fired because he lives in an at-will state. Even then many, if not most, will just double down because being wrong is worse than someone else being right.

Also, who paid his bail?
The $500,000 bond package is secured by three sureties. Santos' lawyer Joe Murray told NBC News they want to keep their identities sealed because they are worried about retaliation.
