And the lawsuit alleges that unaffiliated voters have an undue and possibly determinative influence on who Republicans nominate, and can potentially work with Democrats to try to get strong GOP contenders ousted in primary races.
Utah only lets registered Republicans vote in its primary. However, since Utah will be forever Republican because of its religion, it makes sense for others to register to help ensure that Utah politicians are not batshit crazy right out of the gate. Left to their own devices, Republicans in Utah will seek the most extreme candidates possible. Now that total dishonesty is the main Republican trait, it is even more important for the normals in Utah to intervene. That is unnecessary in two-party states.
In March 2023, right-wing conspiracy theorists spread a conspiracy theory that Sen. Fetterman (D-PA) had been replaced by a body double, but, was this really just a theory? We need good men (not women) to stand up against Demonrat cloning tech, and bring AMERICA back to GOD.

Mike Lee is that man.

Are you saying the Republicans are the evil people that do this and not the Democrats?

I understand you may be living in Utah and are bruised by the hard right control over state politics. I get that. I really do. But out in the Real World of the rest of the United States, thing are a little different. You get that, right? Democrats are quite wicked. No better than Republicans. They all want power, and seem to be willing to do just about anything to acquire and keep it.

Anyhoo, his take on his situation:

Trumpism has swept over and engulfed the Republican party. Have you not listened to the Congressional Republicans?

Well, at least they haven’t gotten to the point of attacking the Capitol building and the security personnel within with hockey sticks when their candidate loses an election, but maybe we just need to give them more time, then?

So now, who do you want to be the next President of these United States. And why?
Anyone other than Trump or his fascist toadies, because I'd like to continue living in a (semi) free country. I'd prefer to live in a fully free country, but nobody's offering that these days.

You want to restrict abortion access? You want to burn books? You want to disenfranchise voters? You want to ignore the environment? You want to lean on hypocrisy like it's oxygen? Alright then. You can go “F” yourself, GOP.

The Democratic party sucks ass, and yet they are the only viable party we've got. That's how truly pathetic the GOP is.

You want to restrict abortion access?
the Supreme Court put it back to the states. Closer to the People. More democracy, not less.

Having said that, I value abortion so much that I think that whites and Republicans should be banned from getting abortions whilst increasing funding for abortions to non-whites and Democrats. That'll show 'em!
You want to burn books?
You mean pornographic books in elementary and middle school. Um, well, yeah. And high school too.

Sounds like you have an agenda.
You want to disenfranchise voters?
You mean voters proving that they're citizens and having a fully auditible voting system?

Having said that.. things that require ID or proving legal residence and identity in the USA:

1. Alcohol
2. Cigarettes
3. Opening a bank account
4. Applying for food stamps
5. Applying for welfare
6. Applying for Medicaid/Social Security
7. Applying for unemployment or a job
8. Renting a house, applying for a mortgage
9. Driving/buying/renting a car
10. Boarding an airplane
11. Purchasing a gun
12. Renting a hotel room
13. Applying for a hunting license
14. Applying for a fishing license
15. Buying and registering a cell phone
16. Picking up a drug prescription
17. Entering a federal court house.

Etc. Etc. Many other things.

But not voting?

Bwahahaha. Look, if you can't figure out how to get a legal ID, maybe you're just too stupid to vote.
You want to ignore the environment?
The environment is in pretty damn good shape.
You want to lean on hypocrisy like it's oxygen?
Why don't you picket outside of Nancy Pelosi's winery about hypocracy. Seems she has no problem with insider trading.
Alright then. You can go “F” yourself, GOP.
I'm not a Republican, but I suggest you go see a therapist.

Best of luck to you.

Right, you're not a Republican. I must have struck some other nerve, then.
