I read an interesting interview about Christian Nationalism on Salon.com. https://www.salon.com/2020/02/29/sociol ... -politics/
The person being interviewed believes that Christian Nationalism and people’s stance towards it are driving much of the political polarization we see today in the US.
If nothing else, I think it’s an interesting lens through which to view current political events.

Christian Nationalism
he/him
When a Religion is good, I conceive that it will support itself; and when it cannot support itself, and God does not take care to support, so that its Professors are oblig’d to call for the help of the Civil Power, ’tis a Sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one.
Benjamin Franklin
