Apparently IVF is now an election issue. Jesus.

The IVF thing is interesting to me, as I think it shows how flimsy politicians actually adhere to the concept that embryos are people. It's just something they say to stay in power. Multiple high-profile anti-abortion Republicans have come out in defense of IVF, yet between 3-5 times as many embryos are destroyed each year because of IVF than because of abortion.

The only conceivable reason I can think of why this particular type of reproductive and family-planning freedom is sacrosanct while another isn't, is because it's primarily rich white people who have access to and utilize IVF.

Ajax will probably not click on the interviews of President Biden you linked to in your last 2 posts, which is a shame. In both of those interviews, Biden proved himself to be much more coherent, rational, intelligent, knowledgeable and wittier than anything I have ever seen Trump display. In fact, Trump comes off looking like a complete idiot by comparison. I do think Biden unnecessarily exaggerated a bit, though, when he accused Trump of forgetting his own wife's name. MAGA-ites are sure to blow that up all out of proportion and ignore all the sane and rational, factual and well-reasoned comments Biden made.
