Even John Fetterman doesn't believe you at this point.
If John Fetterman doesn't believe verifiable data, that's not my problem. That's his. I don't know why he would look at basic, verifiable, black-and-white data, and respond with "nuh-uh."

I guess if verifiable data is something he doesn't believe, he's always got a place in the Republican party should he choose.

Facts don't care about feelings. Facts don't care about political rhetoric. There has been more border enforcement under Biden than Trump. That's a fact. There was more border enforcement under Obama than Bush. That's a fact. There was less border enforcement under Trump than Obama or Biden. These statements can easily be tested against data. Left wing groups sued the crap out of Obama over some of his border policies.

Biden expanded the most potent border enforcement tool that Trump had, and fought to keep it even though there was no longer a global pandemic to justify its use.

These are facts.

Putting kids in cages, quoting Mein Kampf, and talking about securing the border (Mexico will pay for it, amirite?) makes for good polemical porn, but facts don't lie. Border enforcement actions under the last two Democrat Presidents were higher than they were under the last two Republican Presidents. This is testable statement. Data exists. John Fetterman and Republicans going "nuh-uh" doesn't make data magically disappear.

Ajax with many probably over a hundred million liberals in the country I am sure there are some crackpots, phonies, criminals and lunatics include in the group. There is even a father who still loves his wayward wreck of a son.

There were more incidents of border enforcement under Obama than Bush. There have been more incidents of border enforcement under Biden than Trump. These are testable, verifiable statements based on easily accessed data.

Putting kids in cages, sterilizing migrant women, quoting Mein Kampf, and making outrageously silly claims about the border (Mexico will pay for it, right?), all make for great material to bait an eager base who care about feelings more than facts. Unfortunately (or fortunately) shouting really loud doesn't translate to effective policies.

Incidents of border enforcement under the last two Democrat Presidents were greater than they were under the last two Republican Presidents. This is a verifiable fact. Left wing organizations sued the crap out of Obama over his strict border policies. This is a verifiable fact. Biden expanded a Trump-era tool based on the pandemic, and fought to keep it, even though the pandemic was over, in order to circumvent US law and turn away people at the border without letting them apply for asylum. This is a verifiable fact.

Since Gad loves to point out dishonest Mormons, I'm pointing out what the offspring of these Left Coast Ivy league hyphenated last name law professors created. Stanford law professor is the liberal religions equivalent of a stake presidents son.

Is it really love to sell out the country to foreigners so that his son doesn't see a disruption in supply of drugs and hookers? Does he love his son? Maybe. Does he love the American working class? Absolutely not. Nor does anyone in the deep state who is now saying that your vote doesn't count if you vote for Trump. If Trump loses this election, he'll be right that it was rigged. If Trump wins the election, the left will again try to claim his election was illegitimate. By supporting the ruling of 4 unelected lawyers in Colorado and potentially the entire country, Biden has guranteed chaos and likely guerilla warfare after the election of 2024. Biden doesn't give a rip about the US. He became president for one reason and that was to enrich himself and his posterity.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

The US government actually ripped down the barbed wire stopping the illegal immigrants. You stopped the building of the wall that could have stopped the problem before it gets started. Incidents of border enforcement are meaningless, especially when leftist politicians don't even try to hide the ball that they want to replace the electorate.

Razor wire is more useless stopping immigrants crossing than Trump's wall was when hundreds of immigrants tunneled under it. Why are Republicans so perpetually stupid about every issue there is known to man?

You sound just like Hitler, but you already know that. Bunch all the people you hate into one category, make it a boogeyman call the "Left", and then dehumanize it. People like you are why people leave religion.

Steuss's links seem pretty solid -- do you have a better data source?
Democrats have purposefully left the border wide open in hopes of legalizing these people and getting them registered to vote.
Reference please. But why do they need to bring in future voters when Democrats can rig voting machines so easily? Or do you admit all that is a lie?
there's probably 5 more you didn't even see.
Right, you can make up whatever you want.
The wall that Nancy Pelosi refused to fund because she said it was "Immoral," would have helped this and saved a lot more money for the taxpayer.
https://www.cato.org/blog/border-wall-didn't-work

From the beginning, the border wall was somewhere between a political stunt and a scam. I have no idea if this is true or not, but my right-wing friend this very morning was complaining about illegals cutting through the wall with a Sawzall.
The fact is that we've had at least 10 million people that we know about cross this border under Biden.
Again, where is your reference? I tried to do your research for you but couldn't find your claim. I did find this:

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2 ... migration/
The Democrats are an open borders party that represent the interests of the immigrants, not American citizens. Anyone who wants the border enforced is Hitler according to the leftist elite.
A major problem you have Ajax, is that you seem to be a very feeling-oriented person who is easily riled up and without an interest in facts. It seems to me as long as your leaders say the anger-backed words that inspire you, then they can do no wrong. What they actually accomplish doesn't matter.

My pro-Trump friends from my previous job became pro-Trump during the backdrop of our company stabbing its employees in the back (at behest of Mitt Romney) and outsourcing. The lying and scheming that goes into this sort of effort is unreal. I could understand to a degree the draw to Trump, after all, the one friend had even written a Republican congressman (a RINO), blasting him for doing nothing when he had (apparently) promised to do something. I followed this issue as it came up during Trump's presidency, and he did nothing. He balked at one point, but then caved to big business. Somehow, these folks got lost in the campaign energy and trolling, and have totally forgotten to hold Trump accountable for the main thing they needed him for.

Here, let me help you and the right-wing out a bit. I'm not nearly as well-informed as Steuss, Veritas, and Res, but there is a potential serious criticism of the Left and the border problem, and I'm curious how they answer it.

Every time I've looked, I've seen nothing to indicate Biden is soft on the border. Steuss's sources are about what I've assumed to be the case. However, what are the factors driving the border crisis, anyway? It's one thing to say Biden is as tough as anybody, not letting people in. But, why the record numbers piling up at the gates in the first place? I've understood a big part of that is in the rhetorical war between Reps and Dems, Dems are sending the signal that they are the party of mercy, and when Biden won, that sent a big signal that chances are good to walk right on in, even if it wasn't the case. Every time DeSantis pulls a stunt and sends immigrants packing, and a liberal shows up to find a place for them, it sends a false hope to tens of million hopefuls who leave their homes and undertake a huge amount of danger for a chance that never was. And so, it's possible that Democrat messaging is in effect causing more human suffering than Trump, as expectations were lower under Trump and only the most desperate willing to take the risk.

Gadianton, this article claims that the increase is due to the cartels figuring out that there’s big bucks in border crossers. https://news.azpm.org/p/newsfeature/202 ... -billions/

Trump’s border policy created a profitable enough market in smuggling people to attract cartels. We didn’t learn a thing from our failed war on drugs. Now the same players that profit off our drug policy are profiting off our border policy. And they are organized enough to increase the volume. And because they get paid whether successful or not, they have every incentive to overstate their success rate.

Among the many consequences for the US will be increased influence of the cartels within the US. Now they have a financial investment in every person they successfully smuggle into the US.

At this point, I think the cartels are in a much better position than the US is in terms of influencing information that gets to people who are desperate enough to flee their homes. The only way to reduce the volume of attempted border crossers at this point is to take the profit out of it. But as with our war on drugs, we’re going to throw a ton of money into a war on immigrants. And the more we try to clamp down, the more profitable human smuggling becomes for the cartels.
