Right on! I greatly admire you for that stance. I sincerely believe it is more in line with Christ's teachings (as I understand them) than is the intolerant, anti-science, medically ignorant and adamantly anti-abortion stance of extreme right wing, Christian conservatives. Polls consistently show that the majority of mainstream, American Christians (including even a bare majority of American Catholics!) oppose absolute, legal, and punitive bans on abortion, and agree that the final arbiters of the choice whether or not to abort ought to be the sole province of the woman and her doctor--not the government or the criminal justice system. That's kind of how I feel about my paycheck. I should get to spend it how I see fit, not the politicians. The COVID vaccine is another good example. It's my body and it's my choice, not the "experts," who claimed we were all going to die because we didn't take it.
