Media is the enemy of the people and won’t cover that he died a hero. I can report that the BBC carried the governor of Pennsylvania’s news conference live in which he reported that this guy was a hero shielding his family and just as I am typing this I am getting push notifications about him dying a hero from Swedish media outlets.

Pretty lame, Binger. The guy obviously died a hero protecting his family and I really do hope this gets mentioned in the media. If his family starts a gofundme I'll contribute. Not that it helps with this kind of a loss. People definitely need to see this is really happening and it's not a game.

It says nothing about "MAGA", it says everything about him being a good family man. If he were LDS or atheist, it wouldn't say anything about how great Mormonism or atheism is. It would say something about how good he was. To ape the heroism for the good of a brand or organization, especially one that isn't being claimed, is lame.

I'm sure you took the deaths of the officers who were killed by MAGA capitol rioters equally tragically. I'll go back and look for your post about that but I think I remember it.

Inexpressibly sad. This man was a hero for shielding his loved ones from harm. This should not have happened. Everyone needs to end the hateful rhetoric. Threats of violence and violence need to be stopped. This man should be alive today. Trump should not have a scratch on him. Political violence should be considered totally un-American.

It is sad, I feel it in my bones, this poor woman and her family. I'm glad his story is being told and it's a tragedy that he is dead. I was looking to try and find information about him all day, and then it came on the tv. I didn't catch all of it as I was dealing with the dog, but I caught most of it. It felt a lot better than other coverage and information that has been on today, though in Europe they clearly weren't going to get much new while it was night in the US.

The story seems to be being well covered. It was on the front page of the Washington Post, NYTimes, and the BBC--the first three news sources I glanced at.
