Notice the binary and thinking coming straight out of his mouth to the ears of black female journalists interviewing him as he tries to stir up racial controversy regarding KH's heritage. Is she Indian OR Black? Is this guy politically suicidal or something? He screwed up so bad here there's no unscrewing it.

I wonder if Howard University knows that one of their alumni only recently became a black person? Or if the college in San Francisco where she received her law degree, and served as the president of their chapter of the Black Law Students Association, know about this?
This was not a good day for Trump. Not at all. I'm having a hard time understanding what his strategy was, or if there was even a strategy. Is he so self-absorbed that he thinks he can say anything and get away with it? It seemed like he is so used to his MAGA echo chamber sessions that he lost touch with what venue he was in and who his audience was. One thing that did stand out for me was that he rattled. Kamala Harris is turning this thing around, and he knows it.
I fully agree with Cohen's remarks. Trump has proved himself yet again to be his own worst enemy. How can someone as obviously stupid as he ever have succeeded in becoming President? Some have described his performance at the NABJ conference as a self-immolation! And he thinks he won the confrontation! The comedian, Conan O'Brien, once joked that Abraham Lincoln wasn't really assassinated. He had a nightmare vision of what the Republican party would become 150 years later and committed suicide in despair!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

GOP Sen. Cotton defends Trump's comments on Harris' heritage

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas defended former President Donald Trump’s remarks falsely questioning Vice President Kamala Harris’ heritage Wednesday.
“It’s refreshing to see a presidential candidate who’s willing to go in front of the media, something that Donald Trump knew would be a tough interview. It turned out to be a hostile, adversarial interview, but he’s been doing that for nine years,” Cotton told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on “The Source.” “Kamala Harris, meanwhile, has been hiding out for the 10 days that she’s been a presidential nominee. Before then, she used to do interviews every five days or so, but now she hasn’t faced any media at all. I guess she thinks she can hide out for 100 days until this election.”
“The issue isn’t what race Kamala Harris identifies as, it’s the fact that she identifies as a San Francisco liberal,” Cotton continued.
Pressed on how Trump’s comments help the Republican Party win, Cotton claimed, “Donald Trump said that what matters is that she identifies as a dangerous San Francisco liberal, not what race she identifies as.”
Harris’ mother was Indian, and her father is Jamaican. She is the first female, first Black and first Asian American vice president.
Trump said earlier Wednesday at the National Association of Black Journalists convention that Harris “happened to turn Black” a few years ago, saying that “all of a sudden, she made a turn” in her identity.
Trump’s comments came after an interviewer asked him whether he agreed with Republicans on Capitol Hill who have characterized Harris as a “DEI hire.”
