If she skipped voting for trump in 2020 it's hard for me to consider her MAGA properly. I think MAGA is a smaller movement within the party. I can't offer precise boundaries, but I'd say unless the person has a red hat or a disgraced flag, or some other kind of Trump goodies like Trump children's books, or actually self-identifies as MAGA, then their motivation is primarily going to be fear/hate of the left. Before Trump there was decades of outrage at Nancy Pelosi, California, and Bill Clinton's affair. So, this lady who voted for Biden after making the mistake of voting for Trump is now voting for Trump again? What happened? Why go back to Trump? It's not like he improved with age!
I'm not doubting that this is true for somebody, but it doesn't describe any Republicans I've ever met. The Republican's I know would hate Kamala as basically an extension of their hate for Nancy Pelosi. I've never even heard a criticism of Kamala as having anything to do with war or Wall Street, or that either of those are even bad.tent due to the left's embrace of the war state/wall street. Labor won't back Harris not because of Trump, but because of Wall Street support by the left. People are tired of war and empire and want more money spent here than over there.
I'm talking about the Bernie refugees like myself that were upset at how he didn't fight and then supported Kennedy, only to have him seemingly blindly support Israel regardless of it's Gaza genocide and Lebanon war to keep Netanyahu out of jail. Regarding Ukraine, that seems to be yet another resource war and we are about to exit it in exchange for war with Iran.Gadianton wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 12:40 amI'm not doubting that this is true for somebody, but it doesn't describe any Republicans I've ever met. The reason's I've heard for Kamala are things like, "she slept her way to the top as a DA; total slut", "if she becomes president the whole nation will be filled with drug needles like in San Francisco."
All the Republican's I know are still pro-Ukraine and haven't got the memo they are supposed to be against it; they are Pro-Israel more though because as Christians you know Israel needs to be protected.
Obvious nutter.Gadianton wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 1:00 amOh, I take one part back, the QAnon guy I've mentioned was against war (he was was a special ops) and preached Trump would bring peace to the middle-east, but we never spoke after Ukraine, I think, so don't know about that. However, he did believe he would be fighting in a Civil War where he'd be forced to kill liberals from a gun mounted in the back of a Velociraptor he wanted to buy. And that Trump would execute all the Washington Democrats. (for eating children at parties with Lady Gaga and Hollywood folks)
So... MAGA already means different things to different people. I've heard it used as a label for Trump's "movement" (bowel). I've heard it used to describe a mindset. I tend to think of it as the phenomenon that occurs when a society self-selects their news sources and out of a mix of massive disinformation campaigns and personal frustration, votes for an asshole.Gadianton wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 12:04 amIf she skipped voting for trump in 2020 it's hard for me to consider her MAGA properly.
