I listen to a lot of podcasts and such to try to understand how the current Trump supporter justifies their support, and one of the things I keep hearing is that Kamala is stupid and incompetent.

It's interesting to me that nobody ever justifies that opinion with data, that it always seems to be a man saying it, and that it always seems to be coming from a known dumbass (of course, the biggest dumbass of them all, Trump, has been the main idiot pushing this narrative).

Look, I call people stupid all the time, but I back that up with data/reasons. It's easy to call someone stupid; it's harder to prove it.

It feels like this is the strategy of a spastic, mentally challenged teenager. They don't have any real criticisms. They only have their irrational feelings and a blind devotion to BS, so they express their irrational opinion of Harris as a self-defense for not having rational reasons. Maybe they're just doing the Trump thing: recognizing one of their own faults and projecting it on her.

Part of what makes it such a ridiculous claim as justification to not vote for her is, if intelligence is important to you, why would you vote for Trump? You think he's smart? Well then, you are in no position to judge anyone's intelligence, because he is clearly damned braindead, and you aren't smart enough to recognize it.

I challenge anyone to make the case that Harris is stupid without sounding like a moron yourself.

I'm skeptical of IQ in general. From professional experience in trying to understand Nature with a brain made of meat, I feel strongly that the most important test of real intelligence is the question, "Do you wish you were smarter?" Anyone who answers No is not really smart. The passion behind a Yes! answer is a measure of how smart you are.
