I've suspected this for a few years, starting with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
I heard a podcast on this topic and all I could think was that Trump was poisoning the relationship of every man that's immature enough to admire him. I have a young adult daughter who let's me in on what young women think (at least in her circle), and she doesn't know anyone who would date a Trump fan. Anecdotal, I know, but it's backed up by polling. Playing video games and supporting Trump were the two biggest turn offs for young women in one survey I read. They seem to want a man like Tim Walz, not JD Vance.
One thing I will say: I believe I've become a lot less misogynistic over the last 30 years, a lot less aggressive, and a lot more considerate of my wife and daughter. Some of that might be reduced testosterone in my advancing years, but I chalk most of it up to just living with women I care about. If the average guy perceives this as the feminization of men, they might have a point. The problem is thinking it's a bad thing. I way prefer who I am today than who I was 30 (or even 10) years ago. I look back on my youth and it's both interesting and frightening how much of a dick I could be to my family and not realize it.
I'm sure I still have that problem at times, but it's not as bad as it used to be... or so I tell myself.
