Maybe passage of HR 8610 has something to do with it. The bill seeks to give more powers to police the skies and monitoring.

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/for ... ntensifies

Create problem, propose more or continued govt. control as solution.
I believe I linked to that one on a page back or so. There are several, and controlling drones has been a legislation item for a long time. I don't believe in the conspiracy suggestion, as drone incursions aren't new, and there is no way "they" are smart enough to time a staged event to go viral when all the others have fizzled. There is also plenty of chance for people to go nuts without a good reason to go nuts, and simply take advantage of the situation.

So I do agree that this is a perfect moment to take advantage of a situation. The incoming administration in particular needs pretense for using the military against the people, and other subtleties like hacking the drone for information given it is technically a computer, takes those necessary steps for the FBI to hack your PC just because hey -- who knows what you could be doing with it?

Concerning the politics of drone sightings; I suspect most of the drone YouTube channels are right leaning, yet I haven't been able to tell. With the exception of the guy with the drone company who pushed the Ukraine nuke theory and is overtly QAnon, I think drone channels understand very well what Dr. Exiled is suggesting, that they are about to be f'd, and they have a huge vested interest in downplaying the hysteria.

I didn't recognize the guy on Rogan as Ryan Graves, his interview with Joe is also at the top of Dr. E's link. Think of how much the sane public owes Ryan for keeping his integrity. Because Ryan is a hero of the UFO disclosure community, the people will trust him. Without Ryan or David weighing in against the nonsense, there's literally no authority on the planet a guy like Joe Rogan is going to trust.

Ryan McBeth, who comments for NewsMax now, has a deep dive debunking of the nuke search theory, but even that guy won't be enough. Think of how crazy this is. Some jackass in his garage with a backwards American flag on the wall spouting off about Biden wanting a war with Russia, with no evidence or reasoning whatsoever aside from QAnon dog whistling, gets the entire Internet to believe the government is looking for a lost nuke. Joe believed in immediately without the slightest skepticism and said he'd spent the whole weekend worried about it. And who is the only person Joe can trust to back him down? Ryan Graves, who testified of UFOs in front of congress.

It looks like Democrats put forward a bill to give local LE more power to identify and stop drones (it wasn't clear to me how), and Rand Paul said 'no'.

https://youtu.be/ApiXNv9eiXA?t=448

Rand made the usual appeals to privacy and said increased measures would only be necessary if the Biden administration believed the drones were a threat and for whatever reasons military was unable to deal with it.

Well, there you have it, a Republican saying we've got to trust Biden and not give up our rights. So the Joe Rogans out there aghast that government agencies can't just hack the drones or shoot them down at will need to understand the Democrats tried and were blocked by Republicans.

That guy needs to get current. All nukes these days have AirTags duct-taped under the rear fin. That’s how I was able to find one just a couple of weeks ago.

(Full disclosure; I took the AirTag off of that one and slipped it into J D Vance’s briefcase, which is why it has gone missing.)

Unfortunately, most of the updates here are political, I've been hoping for some intriguing large drone information, but as it's turning out, there may not have ever been any large drones at all. I'm saddened by this; that our large drone operators haven't been out exercising their rights in New Jersey in droves. There simply is no good footage whatsoever after all this time that indicates there are large drones out there. Not even a spurious large drone. And there are drone spotters like crazy pouring into Jersey running cameras 24/7.

Politically, an intriguing irony has arisen. The general narrative is has been that the government is disrespecting its citizen by not providing answers, by insulting the public's intelligence saying they aren't seeing drones. Government officials are saying that witnesses are confused. Well now, as it turns out, the unhinged right and associated fringe are saying the same thing -- the public is confused. They aren't seeing Drones, they are seeing UAPs. This narrative has been confirmed by Lou Elizondo and now taken up by Nancy Mace who says they are not drones but aliens.

We made the NYT on Christmas Eve, quite an accomplishment.

It allowed access when I linked to it. Basically the whole thing is nonsense, there is no evidence for large drones or drones doing anything suspicious. They highlight an anomalous person at Picatinny Arsenal who may have made the first report that set the whole thing off, and who isn't sure about what he saw. Most of the article is just details we already know from other reports.

Have elves been flying reconnaissance for Santa or is this the advance fleet for a Kolobian invasion?

It has been revealed that the Cybertruck attack on a Trump hotel was carried out by a white ex-military Trump supporter. But why? The attack was incompetent and more like a suicide than an attack. Dr. Grande suggests mental illness, and the particular motive wasn't to kill anybody, but to highlight his manifesto, which contains the following:
The drones flying over New Jersey are fast and stealthy Chinese weapons with advanced propulsion systems, the drones could be well armed and attack anywhere ... the entire East Coast is in danger
