President Jimmy Carter left Donald Trump an epic “last gift” that Trump is going to hate!
As a result of the rule that all flags on government buildings are to be at half-staff for 30 days after the death of a former President, the flags will still be at half-staff on the day of Trump's inauguration. Thus, the nation will be in a state of mourning during his inauguration. How appropriate, in my opinion, even if Carter had not died!
