What's wild, is the initial skit was almost tossed in the bin. At the table read, it totally bombed, but Nate Bargatze was able to convince them to at least give it a go at the dress rehearsal. He was confident that it just needed an audience to dial in the comedic timing. It was the last one trialed before the audience, after they had all been sitting there for 2 hours of sketches. It killed; and, thankfully so, or we never would have had its comedic gift.
