We've always been at war since I've been alive. I was born during Vietnam, then came the Iranian hostages and Afghanistan where we funded Osama Bin Laden to be our proxy with CIA help. We turned our attention to Central America to rid the area of land reforming usurpers, communists (can't give the little guy a break because then he'll want more and more until a few billionaires have to sell a yacht or two). This aggression will not stand, cried GHW Bush and we spend the 90's trying to find an enemy in terrorism to continue to justify war spending and blunt the cold war dividend talk (probably inspired by the communists). Clinton mercilessly bombed Iraq and the former Yugoslavia in between getting serviced by a certain someone. 911 started another round of war in the middle east that was planned (See General Wesley Clark about that). Biden, or more than likely his Ukraine vets from 2014, have overseen the disastrous war over there ( I know, I know, Putin invaded, but we along with the British PM killed the peace deal Putin and Zelensky worked out in Turkey. So, regardless of the history prior to the invasion, killing the peace deal seems to place blame on the West and us). Now we have yet another glory seeking warmonger wanting to justify future military parades he has planned. Israel first seems to be the real slogan.

With all the wars, conflicts and whatnot over my lifetime, it's hard to arbitrarily say we are or aren't in WWIII. Perhaps we need some hollywood writers to enter the scene with the CIA and other intelligence agencies, add in some historians for authority, and let's concoct a WWIII is here theme that can be sold to the population. Maybe then, when it becomes "common knowledge" WWIII will officially start. Or perhaps the narrative will be that it was already started by that devil Putin and perhaps Xi, don't forget that crazy persian regime in Iran. Democrats probably love the Putin did it theme and Republicans will need a devil as well and so why not Xi and Iran?

Wake up America, TTT, the Terrible Tyrants that hate our Tranquility have attacked! They hate our freedoms! Our way of life is in danger or golly look at all those juicy assets Russia and Iran have together with the Chinese workforce and technology our billionaires crave. I can't remember which is the better narrative to sell. Maybe one to one group and one to the other group? You decide!

I prefer to minimise in real life information on this board.

But I can say that thanks to Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Trump deciding that they need to start another war with Iran, with the aim of ... umm ... promoting world peace (that must be it, since Trump is involved), I am now one of those people who cannot avoid feeling disquiet about the safety of people close to them.
