Clarity: I don't care to have 'discussions' on the board - I care a lot about NY, one of the most awesome states in the country in my opinion, and was curious what y'all thought about Zohran winning the nomination.

I'm more-so just disgusted that Cuomo was the best that centrist Democrats could muster. The Overton Window of sexual predators in politics has truly finally fully shifted. On the plus side, he at least never purposefully walked in on kids getting dressed, and then bragged about it. So I guess Democrats still have a little ways to go.

Beyond that, I guess Mamdani's win is an important lesson on reaching out to voters that generally don't encompass the stereotypical socioeconomic base for your given ideology, and getting creative and "boots-on-the-ground" with voter outreach. I was impressed when he told his supporters to stop sending his campaign money. That's certainly a breath of fresh political air.

People in America only care about one thing right now, making / keeping more money. It's no surprise the candidate focused on that the most won the primary. If the DNC had any sense, they'd focus on that message and stop purity testing on whether their candidates are friendly enough to Israel.

Yet Ceeboo has registered to take part in a discussion board. And he says explicitly that he does not wish to "have discussions" on this board

What then is the point of his starting a thread with the title "Zohran Mamdani D Nominee for NYC Mayor" and asking for "thoughts?" Is he running an opinion poll business, or what? Time to discuss putting him on ignore, perhaps?
