Interesting that Mike Lee, a Mormon who believes in telling the truth, along with Fox News is accusing them of being Antifa. Since there is an executive order against Antifa, then federal agents should have arrested them on the spot.

Sorry - do I understand you correctly as saying that Lee and Fox news have accused the masked white supremacists who marched in Washington of being 'Antifa'? If this is the case, then is the likelier explanation that:

(a) Lee and Fox just don't know what the abbreviation 'Antifa' stands for

OR

(b) Lee and Fox are claiming that the masked white men who marched in Washington were not in fact militant white supremacists, but antifascists presenting to be white supremacists

... or what?

I'm not familiar with Lee and the Fox reporting, but social media is flooded with this take from MAGA.

Antifa, the violent far-left terrorist organization put on masks and rode public transit, to go peacefully protest in DC as Trump supporters. They also apparently hijacked all of PF's social media and their website, because PF documented their little rally, and put it all over their own socials. The added part of the conspiracy is that the SPLC funded it all. [Edited to add: A lot of the theories also say that they were deep state federal agents, like the MAGA insurrection of January 6th).

I don't know why MAGA feel the need to cope this hard that other MAGA are more blatant and open about their racism. Their own god-emperor hasn't said anything that's all that much worse than what PF leadership has said. The only aspect of MAGA that hasn't wavered and hasn't been negotiable is the racism, so it's just weird to craft conspiracies around their fellow ducks, walking and talking like ducks.

Their fanbase can't tell their heads from their asses.......I get such a kick out of a rather you You Tuber running his channel Getajobparker showing how truly down right just stupid MAGA people are. The truly terrifying thing is this still represents 70,000,000 Americans!

I finally saw some of Lee's stuff regarding Patriot Front. I'm curious, when MAGA-types (particularly those who voted for Lee) see this level of reality-detachment, do you find more comfort in believing that the people you enable and support are pathologically dishonest and that they assume you are a moron that will believe them, or is it easier to rest at night believing they are malignantly incompetent and actually believe the inanity that they spout?

Neither option makes it easy to sleep at night.

I'm inclined to believe your second option, but I do think there's an intellectual belligerence in their fealty to the cult, like deep down, they know they're full off crap but enjoy irritating smarter people by believing nonsense (mostly because they're too stupid to employ any other strategy).
