How much more of this and how long will it take to convince even Trump sycophants of the importance of removing Trump and his ilk permanently from power? What can we do to prevent aberrations like Trump from ever again holding or getting close to the reins of political and governmental power and influence? I hope to be able to live long enough to help and see him and his enablers removed unceremoniously from power to the disgrace they so richly deserve!

This is not so-called TDS! It is Trump and his cowardly, subservient cronies who are deranged! It is becoming more and more obvious that their accusations of Democrats and liberals being guilty of sex trafficking and pedophilia are yet more examples of projection of what they are guilty of themselves. Don't anyone dare to accuse or even suggest Democrats and progressives are guilty of such atrocities unless and until they are ready and eager to at least equally condemn Trump and his associates who are guilty of the same, as seems increasingly likely.

Unlike Republicans, Democrats are not averse to accusing even their own members who are guilty of such things. In fact, they are often the first to call out and urge the resignation and even prosecution of their fellow Democrats guilty of crimes and unethical behavior. Al Franken's disgrace and resignation is a good example, and his misdeed was extremely minor compared to what Trump has admitted to and even boasted of doing on the infamous Access Hollywood recording.

Another example is Eric Adams, New York Mayor indicted by fellow Democrats for corruption, whom Trump wants pardoned. I guess he doesn't regard corruption and taking bribes as a serious enough matter to indict or prosecute anyone. Understandable, I suppose, regarding his own well-known record of corruption and scams.

• ⁠When Trump was asked specifically whether Epstein had stolen Giuffre (Giuffre, one of Epstein's most prominent abuse survivors led the charge calling for his arrest. Guiffre, who died by suicide in April, has said she met Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell while she was working at Mar-a-Lago as a teenager). Trump states:"I think she worked at the spa," Trump said. "I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her, and by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever."

As he tried to listen to the other question, Trump interrupted sharply: “Be quiet!” When Collins repeated the question, Trump again replied: “Be quiet!”

Nothing to see here. Move along. Republicans voted a sex trafficker into power, and won’t bring to justice those involved in his sex ring. No biggie, ‘cause The BrownsTM are being sent to concentration camps.

Just a reminder that it was about four and a half years ago when Ira Rosen published his memoir ("Ticking Clock: Behind the Scenes at 60 Minutes"), in which he recounted an interview with Maxwell, in which Maxwell said that Epstein had tapes of Trump and Clinton with underage girls, and if she could get her hands on them, she'd only pass them to Rosen if he would expose both Trump and Clinton, and not just Trump.

Trump never denied the claims in Rosen's interview. Rosen worked for 60 Minutes, and despite Trump being sue-happy with 60 Minutes (and everyone else), he never tried to sue Rosen for the claim.

It's things like that that make me think there's absolutely no amount of bad stuff that Trump could do that would lose him the support of the majority of Republicans. Cults gonna cult.

Indeed. I have long felt that the Clintons are an albatross around the necks of the Democratic Party. Bill represented a new low in the moral fiber of Democratic politics, while Hillary, though competent as a technocrat, was an almost singularly uncharismatic candidate. The Clintons bear a lot of responsibility for our current predicament. They sold out the working class to stay relevant in politics. The working class predictably abandoned them for MAGA. Along the way, they were consistently arrogant and tone deaf, while of course shirking responsibility. Hillary was a bad candidate, and she ran two losing campaigns for president, but up until recently losing did not stop her from tying up the nomination. The wilderness the Democratic Party is in right now, with aged, ineffectual leadership, and the alienation of voters, belongs to no small degree to the Clintons.

Yep. I’ll take being on the side of ‘woke liberals’ over being on the side of MAGA making excuses for and protecting pedophiles when those pedophiles happen to be of the same political or religious identification.
