Similar question. If we pay by CC who attached to MDB can see our names? Please spell this out for me.
Nobody, unless you put your name and number on that form.
And if we DO use our name and number on the form who sees it and has access to it then? That's what I'm asking.

I don't know, it seems like maybe it might be a good thing that the important people on here see the user-name of a donator like say, if brother Hound were to. Who, some say could use all the help he can get in his battle with the board Nazis.

Although, I recently made my first ever D.M. tithe and have yet to notice any perks or praises come my way.

1. Is it just you?
2. Does Shades have access to the information?
3. Do non-admin moderators have access?
It most definitely is NOT #2 or #3.

Thanks I got it all figured out. I wouldn't have minded at all if it were you or Gad. Mods are a different story since they tend to move in and out of rotation over time. I should have been more clear when I asked.

I was really banking on logging in this morning to find some juicy updates from the moderators about donating for folks on the board, like Dr. Cam, who apparently needs a personal cheerleader during the donation process.

But alas, it seems the information fairy has taken a day off, and nothing new has popped up! So, if you're feeling generous but want to keep your superhero identity under wraps, here's another chance to donate incognito!

Next time you're wandering through any store, snag a prepaid card and load it up with the amount you want to toss at the board. The card boasts a 16-digit number, an expiration date, and a CVV number—just what you need for those online donations!

It's pretty amusing that in the year 2025, some folks on this board still can't seem to crack this code. But, Dr. Cam is that one quirky character on the board who confidently declared WW3 had kicked off when, in reality, it was just another Tuesday! So he might just need a little hand-holding during this epic quest of his to figure out how to donate to a discussion board he's been chatting away on for two decades!

My guess would be that it is the person--probably one person--who set up the apparatus that kept the board funded for half a decade. That person is probably as concerned about remaining anonymous as others here are.

Thank you for all of the good suggestions!

So just to clarify: there is an option on the gofundme account to remain anonymous? I used it a few months ago to make a donation on an issue and then I recieved an update a few weeks later, but I don't think I was conerned that my name was listed.
1) I'm too old to care;
2) Choose truth and a tent over a mansion and lies;
3) I support the right to keep and arm bears;
4) Yada yada.
