Hello all! Happy Pioneer Day! I find myself today in the Shadow of the Apocalrock, thinking of Nightlion and wondering if his museum is still there. Maybe I’ll try to sneak up there later today.

I hope that life finds you all well and happy.

Sad news. I called the museum’s number, and it was disconnected. A little googling led me to his obituary from earlier this year. https://www.gilliesmortuary.com/obituaries/james-muir

I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to meet him.

It's happy news that you're here, at least for a minute, Res. I've missed you.

I'm sad to read about Night Lion. There was something so genuine about him. Like you, I regret never having met him.

This obituary for Night Lion is certainly opens up the picture of this unusual man. It is a pleasure to read through. Sorry to hear of his passing however.

I can hardly stand this.

Nightlion and I had many conversations about our family heritage through the Muir Clan (scept of the Gordon Clan) and figured out that we were distant cousins. He was well versed in Scottish history and the clans, a proud Scot indeed!

I'm so angry and sad now.

Jim you were one of a kind and one of my most unforgettable e-friends. You loved your family and you loved God. Incredibly multi-talented, innovative, a good thinker, an artist, and a dreamer.

I feel confident that you are in the presence of the Lord. Good heart, good man, and I'm sure that when you when you left this world that God was ready to receive back one of the toughest and most tenderhearted bastard Scots that He ever dreamed up!

Yeah, I'm gonna go have the good cry now.

Same, RI. I just read NL’s obit, and it was a beautiful tribute to a man who was far more than his pareidolia.
