Trump's Tariff Powers

Trump's tariffs are ruining our economy, have lost us access to Greenland's mineral wealth, and cost us the goodwill and trust of our allies. It has devastated the corn market.

Is there any restraint on Trump's powers? Will the Supreme Court tell him he must have Congressional permission? Is there any way for Congress to comprehend the damage that has already been done by the tariffs?

What good is that now when Trump has already, in effect, made it clear that he is simply going to ignore any ruling by the Supreme Court that he doesn't like? It is becoming increasingly obvious that he has contempt for The Constitution he swore an oath to defend and protect on inauguration day, whenever it forbids or places any constraints on whatever enters his mind that he wants to do. Even if the Supreme Court comes down hard against his attempts to deny birthright citizenship, as explicitly and unequivocally stated in the 14th Amendment and against deporting U.S. citizens who merely disagree with or criticize him, he is just going to give them the middle finger and order his sycophantic appointees in the Justice Department, FBI, Dept of Homeland Security and ICE to unconstitutionally do it anyway, and dare the Supreme Court to try and stop him. He has placed, or is trying to place himself, above the law, The Constitution itself and anyone or government entity that dares to oppose him. He is well on his way to becoming a merciless and ruthless tyrant like Kim Jong Un. He doesn't really even try to hide his ambition to emulate Kim!

There is no one that ceeboo, HoH or anyone else who values freedom, decency, the rule of law and democracy should be angrier at or more disdainful of than Donald J. Trump and his administration! As far as I am concerned, he is unequivocally the worst, most dishonest, most ignorant, most corrupt and most dangerous President this country has ever had by a long shot! He is an aberration to our democratic republic that should never have occurred and precisely the kind of authoritarian leader (or king, if you will) that the creators of our constitution had hoped to insure against!
