I’m initiating this discussion as, in the coming months, a significant battle in American politics is set to unfold between Donald Trump and the politicians of Illinois, particularly regarding whether Trump will be permitted to deploy the National Guard in Chicago.

This situation promises to be quite intriguing to observe. We have Trump on one side proclaiming that black lives matter! On the other hand, we have progressive politicians, including the governor, asserting that black lives do not matter sufficiently to deploy troops to prevent the murder of black individuals.

Numerous videos are currently being shared online by residents of Chicago, urging Trump to deploy troops as they express their frustration with the rampant crime and violence that has engulfed the city. Black individuals are appealing to Trump to deploy the National Guard, as they have observed the effectiveness of his National Guard deployment in DC in decreasing crime and murder rates.

If black lives truly matter to progressives, why do they not collaborate with Trump to address the crime in our cities, which impacts the quality of life for black Americans?

I am eager to contribute a wealth of information to this thread as this situation develops. This could potentially lead to the downfall of the Democratic Party. Democrats face a critical decision: either permit the ongoing violence that affects black communities or allow Trump to send in the national guard to help ensure safety for black residents in Chicago.

I have no doubt progressives will choose black Americans dying over working with Trump to secure safety in our cities.

I recognize that black residents in Chicago constitute 28% of the population, yet this group accounts for 75% of homicide victims. Neighborhoods such as West Garfield, Englewood, and North Lawndale have demographics that are over 90% Black. These areas see homicide rates that are up to 30 times higher per capita compared to the safest white neighborhoods in the city.

Whether in this thread or the one I initiated regarding crime in DC, it's evident that the white Marxist progressives here have not expressed any concern for the black residents in Democrat-run cities facing high crime rates. Black individuals have every right to walk the streets safely, just like Canpakes, Bishop Schmo, DrCamnPP, Veritas, Gunnar, Jersey Girl, Marcus, and all the other white Marxists who contribute to this discussion board.

However, their posts suggest a lack of genuine concern. The aim of Marxist progressives is to ensure that Trump does not gain any recognition for improving safety in Democrat cities. In their view, if this results in hardship for black individuals, so be it; the black community in Chicago will endure the consequences!
