I can only begin to imagine how terrifying and heartbreaking this must be for his children.

Extrajudicial executions of people, whether done by the State, or ideologues, are abhorrent and vile. He preached that empathy was wrong... and I can't think of a more poignant time than now to once again prove how utterly wrong he was in almost everything he advocated. I hope the shooter is brought to justice, that his family is able to find peace during this difficult time, and that the reports of his death are incorrect and he is able to somehow make a recovery.

I have unfortunately seen the video. I don’t think that recovery would have been possible under any circumstances.

I just left a meeting and saw the announcement on every screen. He has small children? My heart goes out to them.

I suppose anyone who says "Maybe this should make people ask themselves whether it would be a good idea to reduce the current easy access to powerful firearms and ammunition in the US" will be met with the response "We should not try to politicise this tragic event. Now is the time for us to unite in thoughts and prayers (etc.)".

As a result, each gun-related tragedy cannot be used as the basis for a discussion of the availability of firearms until most people have forgotten about it. Works every time ...

Jesse Waters just used this incident to openly declare war on the Left. Using various examples of incidents many of which had nothing to do with Leftists. He even brought up the attempted assassination of Trump by a Republican kid as proof that the Left is at literal war with them. No mention of the far more numerous examples of Right Wingers trying to kill Democrats. Or the fact that the RNC mocked Pelosi's husband after surviving an attempted murder.

Why is this clown allowed to be on TV still? All he's going to do is get more people killed. Hell, we don't even know who fired the gun. For all we know it could be some grieving parent who lost a child is upset with Kirk's past statements regarding more guns = less death. So why is he still on TV?

Oh, right. Because FOX is and always will be pure political propaganda designed to drive a wedge through the middle of our country.
