Almost, Ohtani had four plate appearances, 1 walk, three home runs. It didn't seem like an intentional walk either, as either of the last two called balls could arguably have been called strikes.ceeboo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 18, 2025 1:36 pmDodgers sweep the Breweres - Heading back to the WS!
Ohtani pitches 6 innings - 2 hit with no runs - 10 k's.
At the plate - Ohtani goes 3 for 3 with 3 crushing bombs!
Every now and then, you might see this type of performance at the high school level, but to see it at the MLB level is INSANE!
But yes, 3 at-bats, three home runs!!!!
He started deceptively quietly, walking the first batter in the first inning, then he must have decided to get down to business. He struck out the next three, then hustled off the plate to bat first for LA---and hit his first home run!!
His second home run went over the back wall, hit the top roof and apparently, actually LEFT THE STADIUM. They called it at 469 ft. It was unreal!!!
