Will Christians call each other up over this, and pray for these girls? Will this make the rounds in Conservative media? Will the right-wing engage in soul searching and come to realize their hate is killing people?

Sadly, I think they’re too far gone. I’ll go ahead and offer up a prayer for those girls today, and hope their families can find some semblance of peace that this person, a Charlie Kirk fan, stole from them.

When I was a believing Christian, I would have said "The girls don't need any prayers. They are now in a state where they are happier than they would have believed possible, and at peace. The people to pray for are their friends and family. And the guy who killed them."

I can't help noting the phonetic similarity between "MAGAtes" and "maggots." Given the atrocious and destructive things many of them have been observed doing in the name of their cause (such as what ICE agents have infamously already done in Chicago, Los Angelas, Portland and other cities, and their obvious disdain for due process and habeas corpus), I feel fully justified in suggesting that the similarity is more than just phonetic! They seem to be eagerly trying to eat away at the flesh of what's left of our democracy, human liberties and respect for the constitution itself! You obviously feel the same way.

Thank you for joining us in our opposition to the destructive, cruel and inhumane behavior of Trump and his MAGA sycophants. Maybe there is hope for you yet! Surely you disapprove of ICE raiding the homes of impoverished minorities, without warrants, forcing them and their zip-tied children (in some cases naked) to be held outside in the cold, while their homes are trashed and pillaged, don't you? Do you have any difficulty in seeing how antithetical their actions and behavior are to the teachings of Christ, in whom you profess to believe and love?

Or do you naïvely believe this is not happening, or just don't care because they are only poor, brown, minorities and immigrants unworthy of your Christian charity and respect? Even if they were all non-citizens or undocumented immigrants (which is far from given) their treatment by ICE was wicked and reprehensible and should be legally prosecuted and punished!

Not only would the recent ICE actions in Chicago be reprehensible even if the people they attacked really were non-citizens and undocumented immigrants, but the reported facts also show that all of them were actual U.S. Citizens. ICE had actually no justification whatsoever for the raid, other than the determination to maximize their quota of deportees by attacking easy to catch subjects based on nothing but racial profiling. In fact, they were specifically ordered by Stephen Miller to stop going after the really dangerous undocumented immigrants, such as drug smugglers, human traffickers and violent criminals instead of easier to catch suspects who were of no danger to anyone, in order to maximize the number of deportees!

All of the ICE agents involved deserve to be rounded up, prosecuted, tried and imprisoned for their illegal actions. And, yet Trump is insisting that national guard troops be sent to Chicago to protect the ICE operatives! What is needed is decisive measures to protect our communities from ICE thugs! The protesters were nonviolent and fewer in number before ICE was called in. The violence was instigated by ICE operators themselves, which was then used to justify having called in ICE to address the very violence that they had purposely instigated! Not only were the protesters not instigators of the violence, but many of them also busied themselves by trying to put out fires that ICE agents had deliberately started themselves to blame the protesters for! This was all clearly documented by videos!

As far as I am concerned, most of the "undocumented" and suspected undocumented people, just trying to live normal lives with their families and loved ones and who are randomly and unlawfully arrested and kidnapped off the streets and public places by ICE thugs and ripped away from their loved ones, without due process and the right of habeas corpus, are (undocumented or not) far better and more deserving Americans than the ICE thugs who are cruelly and mercilessly targeting them.
