The rapid ascent of Erika Kirk

I’m taking Dr. Shades at face value. This conspiracy theory started in ‘alternative political forums of the right-wing persuasion’ shortly after Kirk’s death. I’m talking within the day. Like any other conspiracy theory that one had about six permutations before general consensus settled on Erika Kirk taking over for Charlie Kirk because of this or that reason that’s not worth repeating.

Dr. Shades has taken a bit of a slide to the Right over the years, and this isn’t his first flirtation with a conspiracy theory. I was hoping he could clearly explain his position with sourced references because that could lead to a robust conversation, but it appears he’s just enamored with a comedy routine?

Anyway, on a different note, congrats to Shades for finding love again. I was happy to see he has a girlfriend. High-five, Shades!

And you're correct to do so. Just because the guy is a comedian doesn't mean he's making up fictional stories for laughs in this particular case. Take George Carlin: He was a comedian, but he talked a lot about his real-life convictions.

Lots of people flirt with the idea that things attendant to the Kennedy assassination don't add up. That doesn't make them right-wingers.

"Enamored?" More like I wonder if anyone else has heard any of these same allegations and if so, what their thoughts are. . . just like I said in my opening post (at least, that latter part). And if it was a comedy routine, I fail to see how it was at all funny.

For my part, I wouldn't have paid much attention were it not for the fact that Ms. Kirk forgave the alleged shooter just a bit too readily to be credible. Any other truly grieving widow would, through tears, be calling for the guy to fry. In her case, it was almost like she was grateful to him for lifting a burden off her.
