Ouch. Good advice. My general rule is to avoid messing with stuff cops shoot at protesters.

ETA: I can’t tell what happened here. Did the person actually try to catch something or were they struck in the hand. Flash bangs are kind of odd for crowd control.

Shades, there are generally street medics at protests. Shouting “medic” when sustaining an injury at a protest is what folks are trained to do.

Nothing in this clip shows a flash bang or the protester picking anything up. Undisciplined or inadequately trained LEOs often fire non lethal munitions directly at protesters, contrary to instructions. Doing this can maim or kill.

I don’t find anything funny about someone sustaining this kind of injury.

Like RI mentioned, the YouTube commentator didn’t show the woman picking up a flash bang device or anything else, for that matter.

I had a regular firecracker go off in my hand once when I was a teen. It hurt like bloody hell. That flash grenade must have been bleedin' mind bending.
