As part of his promised crusade to "drain the swamp," Trump just settled a lawsuit with himself (via his own DOJ) for $1.7 billion. The cherry on top? The government is now legally barred from ever auditing the taxes of Trump, his family, or his businesses. Ever. Trump managed to sue himself and still walk away with a lifetime supply of get out of jail free cards. Without a doubt, he’s the most corrupt president in American history, and the scary part is, he still has two years left on the clock.

The addendum, signed by Todd Blanche, the acting attorney general, says the government is “forever barred” and “precluded” from examining the tax returns of Trump, his family, company and “related companies”. The agreement applies to anything filed before the agreement was reached. It was posted on the justice department website on Tuesday morning, a day after the department announced creation of the fund.

The fund will be run by five people – all subject to be fired at will by the president – and does not have to make public who it awarded money to or its reason for doing so.

Does this also necessarily imply that the government is also legally forever barred and precluded from impeaching him, no matter what he does? How can any sane, honest and well-informed person still have any remaining doubt he is the wickedest, most corrupt and most self-serving President that has ever adversely afflicted our country! I have little doubt that he aspires to become as ruthless and absolutely untouchable a despot as Kim Jong Un, whom he openly admires.

I wish more than ever that he and his sycophantic Vice President could be impeached and permanently barred from ever again running for and holding any political office!

Does anyone have any doubt that if any previous President other than Trump tried to pull off anything even slightly so corrupt as that, there would have been immediate demands for impeachment and even eventual imprisonment coming from all parties, including both Democrat and Republican? This is worse than anything even Nixon tried to pull off, and for which even his fellow Republicans were ready to impeach him, which is why he resigned!

This is easily the most corrupt government in US history. The GOP are enemies of the state, proudly so I might add.

I damned hate at how passive the entire American populace is about all of this. I mean after only 4,344 crimes I would have thought something would have been done about it with consequences to Donnie.

I wonder if Andrew Johnson, one of the MAGA J6ers that Trump pardoned, will be able to get the money that he told one of the children he raped that he'd be getting (so they better not tell anyone about him raping them)?

Well, we have learned the American public is helpless and therefore worthless to making change when it needs it, except after long stretches of problems. Something has got to change.
