Thank you Mr. President

I'm sure you'd all agree with this. I'll admit that I'm already enjoying the look on your faces behind your keyboards. But it doesn't matter. Every word of this is the truth regardless of how little of the truth your worldview allows you to perceive.

President Trump, thank you for something bigger than politics.
Thank you for waking up every day at 79 years old and carrying pressure most people could never handle.
Thank you for the missed meals, lost family time, sleepless nights, constant travel, nonstop attacks, and the weight of leading a nation that always demands more.
Thank you for standing back up every single time people tried to tear you down. Thank you for enduring criticism, lies, betrayal, and pressure that would have destroyed most people.
Thank you for giving up comfort, privacy, peace, and the life you already had to sit in one of the toughest positions in the world and fight for this country.
You didn’t need to do any of this. You already had the wealth, success, properties, lifestyle, and freedom.
You could have walked away. Instead, you chose sacrifice. You chose responsibility. You chose America.
Thank you for everything you carried that many people never truly saw. Thank you for continuing to put this country before yourself.
We see you. We appreciate you. And we thank you.
God bless you. God protect you. And may God continue giving you the strength to carry what most people never could.

And thanks for rewarding your sycophants with $1.8 billion dollars of taxpayers money.

This is all rather touching, I agree.

My only problem is that this is just the kind of thing that their admirers said about Stalin, Hitler, and Mao Zedong. People worshipped the ground they trod on, and were so very grateful for everything they so unselfishly did for their country. The fact that Ajax says this kind of thing about Trump proves nothing at all about whether Trump is a selfless benefactor of the American people, or whether he is an egomaniac whose life has been an endless search for power and fame.

The point is, rather, whether his actions as President are doing more good than harm to the USA and the world in which the USA has to live (NEWSFLASH: screwing up the rest of the world is bad for America. Do I have to explain why?).

Ajax, I know how badly you wanted this to be an epic, defiant stand against the Trump haters, but honestly, it ends up reading like a fan-fiction diary entry written by an obsessed preteen.

Ajax wrote:I'll admit that I'm already enjoying the look on your faces behind your keyboards.
The only look on our faces is embarrassment and shock watching you publicly making love with your Trump blow-up doll.

Ajax wrote:Thank you for the missed meals...
Of all the things to worship Trump for, missed meals is objectively the funniest. Trump has never missed a meal in his entire life.

Ajax wrote:You didn’t need to do any of this. You already had the wealth, success, properties, lifestyle, and freedom... Instead, you chose sacrifice.
Imagine being so obsessed and infatuated with Trump, that you actually believe a textbook narcissist ran for president out of a quiet, humble sense of altruism. That is some Olympic-level mental gymnastics.

Thank you for enduring criticism, lies, betrayal and the weight of leading a nation
Ajax, your post frames Trump like a tragic, silent Savior carrying the sins of the world, completely forgetting that the man spends his nights (and press conferences) rage-posting in all-caps on Truth Social at 3:00 AM because a celebrity told a joke about him at an awards show. Trump isn't silently enduring the weight of the nation, he’s live-tweeting and publicly airing his grievances like an angry teenager who got grounded.

Ajax,

Perhaps I owe Donald Trump an apology. It’s easy to criticize, but it takes real effort to appreciate his unique contributions. Here is my list of Trump things I am thankful for.

- Thank you for keeping your promise and ending the Russo/Ukraine war within 24 hours of taking office.

- Thank you for your legendary humility. Thank you for reminding us, with quiet modesty, that you are actually the most humble person to have ever existed in the history of the world, probably ever.

- Thank you for your incredibly gentle, unifying voice and efforts bringing this fractured nation together by lovingly referring to half the country as "vermin" and "enemies of the people."

- Thank you for keeping your promise of lowering food prices immediately upon taking office.

- Thank you for keeping your promise of the total elimination of the national debt. Thank you for using your supreme, unmatched business ability to effortlessly wipe out the country's deficit, rather than adding trillions and trillions and trillions.

- Thank you for sacrificing your golf handicap for us and bravely enduring the grueling, back-breaking labor of visiting your own golf clubs over 300 times while in office, selflessly letting the Secret Service pay your own companies for golf cart rentals.

- Thank you for hiring only "the very best people." Thank you for your impeccable judgment in appointing a brilliant, fiercely loyal cabinet of top-tier professionals, whom you then had to courageously fire and brand as "disloyal losers," "idiots," and "dogs" just months later.

- Thank you for draining the swamp and completely eradicating political corruption by boldly filling your administration with family members, corporate lobbyists, and people who quite literally ended up in federal prison.

- Thank you for your unwavering respect for the law and showing the world what true law and order looks like by collecting felony counts like they’re Pokémon cards, all while fighting for the sacred right to have total presidential immunity for literally anything.

- Thank you for finally settling your lawsuit against yourself by accepting a 1.7 billion settlement and immunity for you and your family. That takes real courage.

You vociferously denied our accusation that you worship Trump and then turn around and then make a post that inadvertently and unequivocally reveals the truth of that very accusation! This is probably the clearest and most embarrassing self-own I have yet seen!

 I should have read this sterling list of accomplishments before posting my last post! How embarrassing that I could have overlooked or failed to recognize the incontrovertible greatness of this humble public servant and leader!

I ask you, WHY doesn't the rest of the crew here see it? Longest running troll on this board second only to Shades.

Dearest Darling Donald,

I'm absolutely over the moon about what you've done to the Oval Office, the Cabinet room and that Hall of Presidents thing you got going on over there. I love, love, love, the use of gold and all the portraits of yourself on the walls! Can NOT wait to see your golden ballroom! That rickety old East Wing had to go! I hear you had to lob off some height and toss a couple of lions off the new golden arch. What the heck? Doesn't anyone recognize mastery when they see it? How could I forget to mention the new blue on the Reflection Pool? Now that I reflect on it, it makes me want to dive right in!

You keep at it, Donald. Show ''em how it's done. Keep storing up your treasures here on earth!

Thumbs up,
Jersey

p.s. When I was about to give the thumbs up I inadvertently flipped up the Jersey State Bird. Old habits die hard don't they, Donald. I'm so embarrassed. And you?

Agreed.

“Thank you for the missed meals” is sweet detail. The transformation image from real estate mogul into sleep-deprived prophet sustained by Diet Coke and persecution is delicious.

I had to reread this a couple of times to make sure that I didn’t miss anything, but you appear to have thanked Trump for waking up every day, having a busy schedule that means he may be eating on a non-rigid schedule, and for being exposed to what many folks would call fully-deserved criticism.

This could apply to tens of millions of Americans, including tens of millions of them who haven’t committed sexual abuse, haven’t been convicted of fraud several dozen times, don’t scam their fellow citizens with memecoin, product and property schemes, and don’t have a history of hanging out with child predators.
.
“Thank you, President Trump, for treating your voters like easily-manipulated grade schoolers …”
