Just looked at an article about their tour as the Zombies .... I guess all is fair in rock & roll, until someone gets sued for copyright/trademark infringement, haha?

Shifting gears...more music from childhood. Cheating song. Yep, not joking. One of the many songs I know from childhood. (There's a story there). There are TONS of covers on this. I will spare you.
Please Help Me I'm Falling
Original so far as I know. This is the artist I remember:
Hank Locklin - Please Help Me, I'm Falling (1962)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DndK5hZBgu0
Well familiar with Webb Pierce. Don't recall his version of this:
Webb Pierce ~ Please Help Me I'm Falling (1962)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ8ECrIKaf4
Please Help Me, I'm Falling Everly Brothers (1963)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6iUOlAsfoY
Please Help Me I'm Falling (In Love With You) Loretta, Dolly and Miss Tammy Wynette(1993)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNdLulUe7K0
This version is just too beautiful to pass up on:
Puff Johnson "Please Help Me, I'm Falling "
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8PpfQEcMS4
Please Help Me I'm Falling (In Love With You) Gladys Knight (no Pips) 2000
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONiF8Y44d_k
Please Help Me I'm Falling Patty Loveless (2008?)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ww4IDTJWOHw
Apparent Parody. I have NO idea why he's referencing Hank Cochran. But whatever.

Let's go country from again. I mean, hillbilly from childhood.
This could be a lock down anthem!
Well, it might not be fso unny some days...
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry (Hank Williams)
All I can say is that the lyrics to this are sublime.
Original:
I'M SO LONESOME I COULD CRY (1949) by Hank Williams

This has got to be the most famous cover:

I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry by Hank Williams
Hear that lonesome whippoorwill?
He sounds too blue to fly.
The midnight train is whining low:
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
I've never seen a night so long,
When time goes crawling by.
The moon just went behind a cloud,
To hide its face and cry.
Did you ever see a Robin weep,
When leaves begin to die?
That means he's lost his will to live.
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
The silence of a falling star,
Lights up a purple sky.
And as I wonder where you are,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

I knew Home Free sang gospel. Now I'm totally in the tank for this group. Just remember if you are listening to any of these, this group is completely acapella>>>>>>>>>the drums you hear aren't drums.
