Since my original Transition thread has been jettisoned to Prison...here's a new one. Nomomo had noted that the GSA ascertained the election results. Here's a piece about that...

I want to thank Emily Murphy at GSA for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our Country. She has been harassed, threatened, and abused – and I do not want to see this happen to her, her family, or employees of GSA. Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good...

...fight, and I believe we will prevail! Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same.

Somebody REALLY didn't want to testify in front of a House committee.

There’s no chance Trump actually wrote that. It's too polished. People on his Staff composed and posted it for him.

Although Emily Murphy was not willing to fall on a sword for Trump, she deserves absolutely zero respect, as she was willing to as per the GSA request Monday to the committee to delay and send her underling next week to do so.
She was unwilling to be recorded for posterity and history by appearing before the committee making lame excuses for her decision to stall on the GSA authorizing the use of resources required for the transfer of power to Biden.
She is pretty much scum of the earth for suggesting that duty fall upon an underling of hers.
That was a fricking gawdamned asshole move on her part!

In terms of transition, I like the fact that folks are suggesting plans to help rebuild the economy that don't require Senate approval.
https://newconsensus.com/files/building ... senate.pdf "Building Back Better" is not a bad slogan.
