I'm sure we've all heard about how watching Fox News makes you dumber, but I had always assumed it was because they were misinforming people. It occurs to me that it also conditions people to think illogically. The kinds of arguments she makes in that video are not much of an exaggeration. Why is it called Earth if it's mostly covered with water? I can easily imagine someone like ajax making that argument, if he thought it suited some white nationalist purpose.

No wonder right wingers can't argue their way out of a wet paper bag. They are only convinced by the dumbest arguments.

Yes, I noticed that too! I couldn't help being struck by how similar some of the arguments she lampooned are to actual arguments I have heard by FOX commentators and apologists for Trump. That's why I thought it was so funny! Even funnier are some of the actual arguments and comments I have heard from Trump supporters at his rallies being interviewed by news reporters!

It just goes to show that the Trump cultists have lost the members of society who are still sane. It doesn't matter how much the yell an whine; everyone knows they're just talking because they know that's what happens in a debate. They continue despite not having really competed for years now.
